Anyone else think these remakes should be no more than £30?

new ? no. I've got no issues with this kind of remake being 10-20% less than entirely new games.

This isn't a simple preprogrammed up res, it's been rebuilt & overhauled. they tweeked the gameplay mechanics, voice lines were rerecorded, new dialogue written, made issac the more fleshed out character he is in 2 & 3 (compared to a generic avatar like in the og).

Nothing wrong with not wanting to pay that much for something you've already experianced on some level , But it's definitely enough work to justify an rrp of £50-60 at launch.

The new Resident evil 4 is a good example of a fully fledged remake being fairly priced with it's £55 rrp (instead of £70 like EA charged for this)

Last of us part 1 remake on the overhand was not altered/refined enough to warrant £50-60 at launch nevermind £70. (edited)

Still feel £50 is too much although it is a hell of a game and so much work has gone into it. It looks and plays great, but there was no pre-production, discovery, game and environment design, concepting etc which is where a lot of effort is spent in game development.
I will eventually bite at £30

Why do you feel its to much? Its a completely new, built from the ground up game. Don't be so cheap.

Great thing about it being EA is that it'll be on GP by the end of the year. I can wait till then.

This game is a thing of beauty, this is the way a remake should be done. The first hour was very familiar, then it felt like I got lost in a new game, superb.

It may be a relatively high price but it's a pretty much perfect remake.

The original Dead Space is one of my all time fav games and I can't see how they could have done much more with this.

I have no regrets paying the £48 I did on launch day, and that's from someone who very rarely pays more than £30 for a game.

Hopefully it will get enough sales for a Dead Space 2 Remake to get the nod.

I'll pirate it in a few weeks, brought it once. I'll probably play it it for 20 mins and delete, even as a rehash it looks and plays like a 90's game. A total waste of resources and time. A good funeral for the franchise would have been more dignified.
