    This is getting out of hand……. See what I did there.

    Using that example, I would start at 11cm ( the length needed) and stop at 0cm. My line would then be 11cm.

    Have I been using left handed rulers all my life‽ This one is identical to all the rulers I own!! Even the angle of the pencil is slanting to the right‽

    As a leftie this is bonkers. i recall using a slide rule in my early days (engineer retired) and that was a tad mind blowing for different reasons. A straight piece of plastic should not pose that much of a problem for anyone. Now guitars...that's a completely different lefty problem.
