Alternative to the wooden border rolls that can rot quickly, more durable border edging made from recycled rubber, considerably cheaper than Amazon and B&Q for the same product

  • Versatile; Great flexibility which allows you to bend and shape around the curves of your garden
  • Easy install border; Includes concealed installation spikes and pre-cut holes for easy installation
  • Friendly to the environment: Tyres destined for landfill and turning them into attractive products
  • Robust border; Heavy weight, but lighter than traditional concrete alternatives
  • Extremely durable; The border won’t crack or break as its made from recycled rubber

I got some from Derby store yesterday, really easy to fit and looks really neat and will not rot like the log rolls.

I dunno mate that border looks wonky to me. Done the Roman way it should be as straight as an arrow.

I got these a couple of weeks ago from the Southampton branch. Next best price I found on eBay was around £17 each, so a great price, and the item itself is a surprisingly heavy chunk of rubber that feels like it should last well.

I got some of these last year and they’ve been great. I’m glad they’re back in, I need a couple more.

Currently out of stock at Thurrock (they said that there was more on order but didn't know when it was coming in). I bought the last ones there and the went round to Chingford to buy the 2 extra ones that I needed for the job. There were plenty at Chingford. It seems like really good stuff. Very easy to lay and looks very durable.

This looks good but not for me - I've struggled to find a suitable border for use with the Husqvarna - if anyone has any inspirational ideas would be welcome!

Instore only - which is annoying as I would love to get a bunch, but no Costco nearby. Tad strange to be honest, as I would be happy to pay delivery, and still be aa good deal

What's the best way to stop the lawn edge sinking into the flower bed? Make a trench along the border and support it with something?

The best way with this would be just to compact the soil - it's not that heavy, so it should be fine. Could use gravel or MOT if you wanted to go OTT
