Anyone not using a safety razor should try one, you will save a lot of money and reduce your plastic waste.

The impact of plastic is much less than the impact of the metal used and wasted with the stupid 4 or 5 blades gimmick. Plastic production has a much lower CO2 footprint than metals. A bit off-topic, but you can find the book online called The Plastic Paradox, a real eye opener

    Agree.
I shave my head and can't even get a full shave with these.
I switched to Bic Chrome Platinum, much better.

Used these for the past 8 years, they work well for me and stay sharp for a long time. Thanks op

I use these - perfect for me.
Something that newbies need to understand is that one blade may be rubbish for one person, but brilliant for another.
A lot of people rave about Feather blades, but they just don't work for me, likewise for SuperMax. . (edited)

I'm a massive fan of DE shaving. But I'd recommend Gillette 7 o'clock ones over these. Price difference is barely anything given you get 100.

I rotate my blades and these work for me but I have very thick beard hair so they be a factor.

Depends on hair type, thickness etc but these are great. My pack have lasted over a year now. Get about three shaves per blade.

I bought these. Not very good. Binned them.

I use the single edge version of these. They're not sharp compared to others but they do the job once you get used to them and are so much cheaper. I use them once and throw them away. I got 300 single edge from Amazon (currently £7.69) and they'll last me about 2 years. Great value.

I started out with these but started looking at others as I would constantly cut myself. Now use Feather Hi-Stainless which are amazing. Haven't cut myself once and don't suffer soreness.
