sorted byIf you get your tide times right also the walk to St Michaels Mount over the causeway is a nice thing to do. The godolphin pub overlooking the causeway is also excellent, amazing views over the causeway if you get a good table. A bit fancy (at least in my book)
If it's raining try the saltwater geothermally heated pool in Penzance (not like the ones in new Zealand, its small and geothermally heated just means a big ground source heat pump).
St Ives itself is lovely but suggest going there on the train as parking is pants

The facilities e.g. swimming pool etc needs improving but if you are going out then it doesn't matter.
On the way back from there or on your way there you can go to Lapa Valley if you have small kids or Tehidy Safari Park.
There is Tesco closeby as well so get all the groceries you need and fuel up cheap.
Only downside is that it is soooo far from other parts of UK and so a long drive. otherwise it is the best holiday you can have if weather plays ball.
