If you're in the area suggest making a trip to Godvrey up the coast. About now there are seals on the beach below (you can see them from the top, You can't go down to their beach, theres another beach round the corner you can).
If you get your tide times right also the walk to St Michaels Mount over the causeway is a nice thing to do. The godolphin pub overlooking the causeway is also excellent, amazing views over the causeway if you get a good table. A bit fancy (at least in my book)
If it's raining try the saltwater geothermally heated pool in Penzance (not like the ones in new Zealand, its small and geothermally heated just means a big ground source heat pump).
St Ives itself is lovely but suggest going there on the train as parking is pants

Great location I've stayed opposite in Toms Holidays for many years and popped in with the kids a few times to use the arcades etc. Beach is 10 min walk and amazing. St Ives about 20 min drive.

Lovely place with nice small on site facilities and great price for a nice little getaway. I’m going on Friday for a week (Toms over the road) again as me and missus love it down there. Plenty to do and explore and the beach is fantastic. Watching the sunset over St Ives while having a pint in the Bluff is blissful. (edited)

We went there two weekends ago. Not much to do on the site itself like some other havens, but for three days there's plenty nearby. We went to lands end, st Ives, and Michael's mount and ofc enjoyed the nearby beach. Would go again for sure. :-) (edited)

This is my favourite Haven site. Small enough that you dont get lost, nor do you have to stress about getting a seat at the clubhouse. More than enough to do in the area to entertain adults and children. Have been here soo many times, and Cornwall itself never disappoints. (edited)

I’m there now on the deal and it’s amazing value, the local beach is jaw dropping and there is a bus several times a day right outside the site if you don’t have a car or fancy parking at St Ives. I was expecting a ‘tired’ caravan at the price but it’s modern and spotless. Thanks very much to whoever posts these Haven deals

Haven has the best caravans even at their other sites. If you go with Silver, it offers the best value for money although Bronze ones are sufficient as well.

Best place for a caravan holiday IMO. It has pretty much a private beach that hardly anyone goes to. You can drive to most places in Cornwall in an hour max. So many brilliant beaches like St Ives and others are close by. The area where the caravans are is also great.

The facilities e.g. swimming pool etc needs improving but if you are going out then it doesn't matter.

On the way back from there or on your way there you can go to Lapa Valley if you have small kids or Tehidy Safari Park.

There is Tesco closeby as well so get all the groceries you need and fuel up cheap.

Only downside is that it is soooo far from other parts of UK and so a long drive. otherwise it is the best holiday you can have if weather plays ball.

I have been there 3 times and its been brilliant every single time. (edited)
