Witness the origins of the Master Sword in The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword HD for Nintendo Switch. Originally released on Wii in 2011, this classic quest has been optimised for Nintendo Switch with smoother motion controls, as well as newly-added button controls.

Depicting the earliest story in The Legend of Zelda timeline, Link must travel between a world above the clouds and the great unknown below in search of his childhood friend, Zelda. Armed with his trusty sword and shield, Link will face off against powerful foes, solve tricky puzzles and soar through the skies atop a huge bird called a Loftwing on this epic adventure.

When playing with two Joy-Con controllers, these become your sword and shield. Swing the right Joy-Con to have Link swing his sword in-game and use the left Joy-Con to raise his shield to block enemy attacks. Physical movements like these can also be used to make use of different tools and items, such as wielding a bow and arrow or throwing bombs.

For the first time, you can also play this adventure using button controls, allowing the game to be played in handheld mode or on Nintendo Switch Lite. When using this control scheme, you can control Link’s sword by simply tilting the right control stick in a chosen direction.

Really shrewd by Game. Release a tiny discount for one of the least popular Zelda games 3 days before the highly anticipated Tears of the Kingdom is released

I thought that Nintendo would do that with botw like a couple months before…I mean who’s going to buy botw now?

I give heat, although that’s for if you get it delivered or get a store that doesn’t open all of their games up. Otherwise it’s cold if you just collect and get an open “new” one

If anyone lives near Warrington Game, I was in there a couple of days ago and they are closing down. 20% off all switch games and lots of other stuff

Only recently played this. Started off so great and then just completely fell of a cliff with all the ludicrous fetch quests, one after another, after another, after another.

I gave up when I was asked to swim around to collect musical notes.

Picked up a copy 2nd hand locally last week, struggling to get into it. Controls are a PITA.

Ghirahim is the best thing about this game, what a fun villian. Not worth £30 at all. This is a £15 game at best.

It certainly doesn't seem to get much love from the zelda community I noticed but I played it blind never had it on wii and thought it was great! We completed it recently before TOTK came out and our whole family loved watching/playing this. Not sure why it's hated on so much

I for one loved this game. Although that being said, I haven't fully completed it yet. I have four zelda games on the go at once though. Five on Friday.

It really costs £5 to send 50g?

Not at all but that’s what they charge. It’s like £2.85 or something. I sent a game to Switzerland for £3

I noticed when I went to the franchise in Leeds Sports Direct today that its £31.99 atm. Call me stubborn but I'll wait until its £30 before I take the plunge (same with Persona 5: The Royal though the issue with that is the time it'll take to complete than the actual price).
