    The translucent aspect also makes it good for sealing edges of laminate flooring if you don't like using Scotia. As long as you can get the laminate no more than 10mm from the skirting and use a sealant smoother tool you get a great result imo. You can use a coloured sealant but hard to match the flooring, where with this it seems to carry the colour of the floor within it.

    Help me out here
    I've got my skirting on top of my flooring.
    Just the nature of old houses not every part is level so in small palaces there are horizontal gaps between the floor and skirting.
    When the floor was laid, there is a 10mm expansion gap between the wall and flooring, then the skirting rests on top.
    Do you think sealibg the gap with this would close that gap up but does not affect the expansion? (edited)

    I ordered 2, and collected it today.It is 5 years out of date 05/18 !!!!. Contacted B and Q and they said to bring it back and we will refund you. I explained it cost me about £ 5 in fuel in the first place. So to take it back I basically get the £10 back and spend £10 in fuel.

    Yes, expiry on mine was 05/18! The B&Q guy couldn’t have been more apologetic or helpful. Swapped it for similar product priced at £11 and wrote off the difference. (edited)
