    £5.09 for a 15l one at Toolstation.

    I used this type of paint scuttle for the first time last month - normally use a paint tray and it was much better.

    However, from my experience, I think one with an angled side wall would be far more practical and productive but they are a fair bit more expensive so perhaps difficult to justify for the occasional home DIY'er.

    This is not cheap guys. The 15L one from Screwfix (Harris if I remember right) is normally £5 - unless it's went up in price, but this is pretty standard for 10-15L

    Once you use a paint scuttle for decorating you will never use those flimsy trays again.
    I use liners with the scuttle, saves cleaning.
    I paid way more than this for the Faithful branded one on Amazon.

    These are not very stable but may be ok for the occasional painter. Purdy ones are better for professionals but much more expensive.
