Push Notifications from HUKD app?

Getting far more notifications everyday. Cannot control them at the android end, and I don't see options in the app. Anyone know what's going on or how to fix? I just want the message with summary of deals, I don't want all these additional push notifications.

Hi @Pryda Could you please share a screenshot of the unwanted alert notifications that you're receiving? This will help us determine what type of alerts they are.

To turn off the daily picks alerts, you can use the bell icon on the top right of the list.

You can also review any personal alerts you've set up to see if they're sending incorrect notifications. These alerts must match an existing group, category, or deal title exactly, so longer alerts may cause issues.

To view your personal alerts, click on your profile picture and then click on 'Alerts' in the top header tab.

Hi, I don't have any alerts set up. I do want daily picks digests but that's it. But I'm receiving push notifications for individual deals that I have zero interest in.

I've been getting daily pick notifications on my phone for a while now. I don't know if it's anything to do with HotUKDeals last update of their app. Though for whatever reason, even when I hit the bell to stop getting them, it doesn't seem to stop them from appearing on my phone.

You and me both. Turned notifications off but no different. Can't delete the things either. Will uninstall of I can't fix it as I find it really irritating.

I suppose for me it's not a big deal as I can just swipe them off my phone whenever they appear though because I've tried on more than one occasion to click the option to turn them off (I've switched it on and off on more than one occasion to see what would happen) I'm still getting them no matter what, it's getting a little annoying. I'm now actually starting to wonder if it's a bug in the app. I've also just switched off in the Android notifications the option Receive a push notification for suggestions from the team to see what will happen, if anything. Ditto. Getting notifications even though all switched off on android.
Please can you fix this ASAP.
Really don't want to have to delete the app but I don't want notifications as they disturb me when I'm working.

hi can you please check : Three bars top left > Settings > Android Notifications (which is where you can set the above

As this is the selection options that appear to resolve the unwanted notification issue for some other community members
