Fringed by deep-green mountains on three sides, the Julian Forest Suites combines a quiet setting with a lively activity schedule. Location-wise, the clue’s in the name here. The hotel’s pitched on the last road before you hit the thick forests behind Icmeler. If you fancy some beach time, you can catch a bus into town from just outside.
All eyes are on the pool scene at this place. It’s mammoth – there are ones for relaxing and ones for games, plus another two that are fed by colourful waterslides.

The biggest of the pools has a striking, grid-like mosaic for a floor. It’s got sunbeds and a children’s pool set aside, as well as a poolside bar. There are three other pools, including one with a hot tub attached.If you’ve got young ones in tow, they’ll love the waterslides. There are two pool areas to pick from – one at either side of the hotel. They open for several hours a day, so children can get their slide fix.

• Main pool. The main pool's where the action takes place, with games and entertainment on the cards throughout the day. There are plenty of sunbeds and parasols dotted around it, too, and there's a pool bar serving cocktails.
• Relax pool. This pool's perfect for some peaceful relaxation. Comfy sunloungers and parasols line its spacious terrace, and there's little tables, too, ideal for putting down your book or drink while you take a dip.
• Slide pool. This pool's ideal for youngsters, it comes with a pair of waterslides for them to shoot down.
• Baby pool

You’ll see a few familiar faces at the buffet restaurant – including roast beef and Yorkshire puddings on Sundays. It keeps things global, though, with a range of dishes, like pizza, curries and salads.There’s also the option of dining at the à la carte restaurant* for a little extra.

• Forest Restaurant. You can choose from a range of local Turkish and international dishes for breakfast, lunch and dinner here. There's an outdoor area for al fresco dining and you can grab tea, coffee and snacks here in the afternoons.There's soup available, too, from 11.30pm 'til midnight.
