What are the chances this will play well with the steam deck?

I'd imagine it's the same engine as Elden Ring. So it should be OK.

What is the game play like? I am a massive fan of Dark souls, demon souls and Elden ring.

Best price yet. I pre ordered it yesterday. You can cancel it at any time so low risk.

The second game I've ever pre-ordered apart from GTA V :).

We must give praise for the last developers we know will deliver good games- they are getting so few in number. I bet this game slaughters Starfield on release, and how sad will that be?

Why are so many games simply slow motion train wrecks, where we watch 5-8 years of development on a title that is obviously DOA from day one, like Redfall. Games that go out of their way to alienate their core demographic, spend hundreds of millions to do so, and boast on release about how glad they are that their core demographic refused to buy them. I mean did people here see what Rocksteady did with 'The Suicide Squad'?

Elden Ring was glorious, and even better it was hated by the mainstream critics and devs of the West, helping illustrate the reason we now get so many bad AAA games. We gamers can make our desires clear, but if those in charge of game dev despise us, and think us fools who can be easily psychologically manipulated into using dreadful GaaS and 'message' titles, well there will be even fewer games to look forward to. Hurrah for Armored Core VI.

Starfield is in a different genre, but I do have faith on bethesda ... that they will F this up on release day, then patch out bugs to fix bugs for a few years until the game reaches a playable state

Why on earth are people still preordering pc games?

Fromsoftware and Rockstar are the only 2 companies I would trust to deliver a full game on release. For what they have done for the industry, even if them do release an unfinished game, I'm willing to accept that, for only once. Not saying they will release a unfinished game, but they can take my money for free at current state, they earned it.

On top of that, I'm an AC fan, and supporting the IP to revive the genre and grow its popularity, it's a no brainer (edited)
