Recently seen these £1.40 each and more for regular Monster Energy due to sugar tax. Saving £2.10 with ultra, more for regular. Assuming national.

Decent enough price for the regular monster. They still have the full sugar after the tax so heat op

New Gin & Tonic and Prosecco gummy sweets (non-alcoholic, which is a bit of a let down) for Christmas only £1 a bag
RainbowKiss

What's the point of it

col11

Mmm... I kinda agree with that, my actual first thought was "pointless" either you like Prosecco/Gin and you want sweets with it in (not just pretend flavours) or you don't drink so your not really interested in something made to taste like a alcoholic drink

Magister

Seems like some clown in marketing has come up with this brilliant idea to get children to like the taste of booze. Seems very similar to the idea of candy cigarettes which put the idea of smoking into the wee ones' heads. Cold.

Saw this in store. Tesco South Norwood Hill. Was the last one, but think it could be the dame elsewhere.
blackvelv

+ Where do I get my energy from if zero doesn’t have sugar? Lucozade Zero is a sparkling low-calorie drink, not an energy drink. It’s a new addition to our range because we are committed to offering more choice to our consumers. from their website

Dryrain

I was just going to ask the very same question. Defeats the point of the product. In fact this could do more harm than good if someones not reading the product correctly. I give lucozade to my father when his blood sugar drops. If I get this its zero use to him.

rimalpatel007

£1 everywhere else

Bobbystein

The whole point of Lucozade is to provide glucose, what I want to know is, WHAT IS THE PURPOSE OF THIS?

I got a bottle of this to try but really these zero sugar drinks are absolutely vile

rkl

The sugar tax has basically wrecked almost all UK flavoured fizzy drinks. There's only a few hold-outs keeping the exact same sugared formula (standard Coke and Pepsi - dunno if there's any other popular brands that have). I used to love sugared orange Fanta and sugared 7-Up, but both have added disgusting sweeteners to get below 5% sugar - making them completely undrinkable. What maddens me is that all the popular brands already have sugar-free versions (and, without exception, they all taste awful), so why do they need to mess with the sugared version after selling it with the same sugared formula for decades? Just to confirm my beliefs, I went on a rampage around every supermarket, buying 10-15 bottles of every flavoured sugar-free fizzy drink I could find (own brands plus branded ones). I probably bought about 50 bottles in all - every single one without exception was quickly poured down the sink after a few swigs. The ones that got me retrying a bit more were Asda's diet lemonade, Coca-Cola Zero and Pepsi Max. They only lasted a few more gulps though before I could detect an aftertaste (not as bad as some though) and down the sink they went. Basically, I'm off flavoured fizzy drinks of any type for good now and am drinking sparkling water instead (you can usually get four 2 litre bottles for 1.50 or less at supermarkets).

susan.howlett

Tried this was excited s a big cinnamon fan but was disappointed. You get slight cinnamon taste after couple mouthfuls not impressed.

RahulMacwan

Brother i like what u have said and im assuming u have that same bad after taste when consuming zero and diet but i think the natural one was better than these..

ImAlanPartridge

It was a failure because people either wanted proper tasting Coke or zero calorie Coke. Coke life was the worst of both as it didn't have either.
