Every time there's been a headline item and it's not qualified for delivery itself, I've never been able to fill a basket to qualify.

50p / 100g is good though! Brings into question why they charge £40 for the 7kg which works out more expensive and has a shorter date. Bizarre.

Because you don’t then have to buy a load of other rubbish which they have a much higher margin on. (edited)

Some cheap items that you can add to your order

1 x Baxters Salad Beets Pickled In Sweet Malt Vinegar 340g Glass Jar, 1p each, max 2 per customer but it lets you add more
    discountdragon.co.uk/pro…ar/

1 x Qi Organic Afternoon Tea 25 Black Tea Bags, 1p each, says max of 4 per customer but it let you add more

With the limit, yes you can add more items, but when they go to process your order they will reject your order if you go over the allotted amount. I tried a while ago and happened. I was able to contact them and they let me have double the limit per customer, but that's as far as they would let.

Trash website, redirects you to google unless you accept cookies. Shady business practice.

My order arrived though looks a good way short of a kilo. I think they must be including the weight of the basket which seems sneaky…

    Sneaky, or downright deceptive?

    "Basket hamper contains approx 1kg"

Contains certainly doesn't mean including the weight of the basket!

Anyone else weigh theirs? This is looking increasingly like a company best avoided.

Thanks, just spent £25 on lots of sweet things - the bag of smashed up smarties will be fun for ice cream night!

Just top up with three bottles of out of date mystery wine for £7 each and you good to go!

I looked up some of the bottles of wine in the picture and found them retailing for under £7...

How much does the basket weigh in this total weight?

    900grams! 😜
Discount Dragon going a bit too gimmicky for me now. One headline deal and then a real struggle to find anything else that isn’t beer to fill up with.
Still, beer & chocolate is a fine combination. (edited)

Bit disappointed with them; ordered some stuff on 23rd and it is still not with DPD though beer ordered later has already been delivered.

I ordered from them fine until they stopped using Royal Mail. My first order was apparently sent via Amazon....who then lost it somewhere between Yorkshire and Newcastle. Had to get a refund. Made a second order and like you I have DPD tracking but they haven't scanned it. Seems to me orders just stack up until they have a pallet worth then they go out.

It's impossible to get this unless you spend at least £20 on other stuff. Very misleading and should be taken down.
