Join forces with the dragonflights of Azeroth as they return to the Dragon Isles, a lost realm of magic and wonder. There await the dracthyr evokers, an all-new playable race and class of humanoid dragonkin who stand ready to join the ranks of the Horde and Alliance.

With the newly released Return to the Forbidden Reach content update, plus Embers of Neltharion and even more updates slated for later in 2023, you’ll soon find yourself immersed in a growing adventure that leads you ever onward through the world of Azeroth.

Whether you’re a solo adventurer, a dedicated raider, or sharp-eyed gladiator seeking glory in the arena, your next adventure begins here.

Unleash the Power of the Dracthyr Evoker
Become a Dracthyr Evoker, an ancient race of winged humanoid dragonkin recently awoken on the Dragon Isles. Dracthyr Evokers are BOTH a new playable race AND a new playable class, which can specialize into Preservation (healer) or Devastation (ranged magic damage).

Explore the Mythical Dragon Isles

The Dragon Isles have remained hidden for 10,000 years since the time of the Great Sundering. Now, their forgotten shores reawaken with primal energy, beckoning brave explorers from the Horde and Alliance.

Level to 70

Rise to new heights of power as you progress to level 70 with potent new abilities, all supported by the return of newly revamped talent trees.

I’m sure all the other wow expansions I bought were around 20 and came with a month game time… 40 and no game time was a big slap in the face.

I've been playing since wrath and they used to do a free month with fresh accounts

    For the Alliance!

No thanks, if I had time for World of Warcraft, I would just play Classic which is a far superior product.

Each to their own. But if you are in this for nostalgia, WotLK Classic is where it's at.

I tried retail, but it's just not the same game anymore....for me anyway.

    WotLK classic is booming though.

How does this work if you’re brand new to the game?

Do you play need to play the main game first?
Does it unlock the other expansions?

New patch released on the 2nd adding to Dragonflight, new areas, raid and other stuff.

For anyone returning, it's pretty much the same with mythics, similar from previous expansions.
