sorted byI get the aldi/lidl ones also, generally fine/OK. But they not as good and aren't they like 50 a tin?
So 1.5 aldi tins same/more . 2 tins more expensive and take up a load more cupboard space. Plus these are delivered with my other S&S stuff
Heat added, thanks
thank you for contacting us, please note that According to the European Directive 2004/19 EC 1/03/2004, the use of Bisphenol A is allowed and it is a component commonly used by packaging manufacturers.
Since the use of BPA has become a subject of study and discussion, “Mutti” has been working in cooperation with its suppliers since 2011 in order to develop new type of paintings. These projects are carried out with the most important Companies in Europe.
Starting from crop 2013, we decided to use “BPA ni” primary packaging for specific markets like Scandinavia countries.
From crop 2015, Mutti S.p.A decided to use “BPA ni” primary packaging (es. Tins, tubes, capsule) for all Mutti products and production.
BPA ni (= not intent) means that BPA is not used in the formulation of the lacquers.
“BPA ni” lacquers are mainly based on polyester technology.
We hope to have given clear information. We remain at your disposal for any further questions.
Thank you and best Regards

And from tinternet:
What does BPA non-intent can mean?
*”BPA non-intent” refers to the fact that Bisphenol A (BPA) is ubiquitous in the natural environment, and very small amounts may be detected in “non-BPA” substances, as current technology measures in parts per billion. We refer to “BPA non-intent”, rather than “BPA-free” as a more accurate term for these circumstances.
EDIT: There's currently a 'TryPickup' £5 amazon voucher if you use a locker, that I had no idea about... I thought the price had glitched to reflect the 5% and 25% vouchers and overruled the "1 per order", I had absolutely no clue about the £5 Amazon voucher and the price didn't make sense. Lesson learnt that if something seems to good to be true, it is! You can't get the voucher back even if you cancel the order so I wasted my TryPickup voucher on a semi-ok tomato deal, don't be like me folks I have egg(or tomato) on my face now! (edited)
I wonder if they’re changing the branding or something and need to shift the tins, as my Sainsbury also has these tins on deep discount at the moment, which is quite rare from my experience of buying Mutti.
I wonder why!
