I bought a rotary last month from a deal on here. The thing gets faster with time every day

Expect this is supposed to be (31m-199ft)

I expect it's written wrong, coz neither makes sense to me. 31m doesn't equal 199' & water resistance usually in tens or hundreds of metres, sometimes with an imperial conversion next to it.

Edit: had a look & it's not on Rotary website & so likely an older model. A couple of these on eBay showing casebacks marked with 50m WR. I don't know what Rotary suggest, but I wouldn't swim with this. (edited)

I have a rotary skeleton watch, if I don't wear it for 24 hours it's literally dead the following day.
Not sure of that's standard for the automatic movement as I'm not a massive watch expert

Thats expected and normal for automatic/mechanical watches. Since there is no battery it takes power from when you wind it up or when you keep wearing it and your wrist movement winds it/powers it.

Rotary states that when not worn, it will stop working after 24 to 36 hours, so that is normal. After that you have to wind it up again.

The joys of a mechanical watch

Got one, looks nice but not very robust / shockproof. It fell off the dressing table and broke.
