O2 Pay & Go Text and Web: £15 top up gets you unlimited texts & internet, £10 top up gets you unlimited texts

FOUND BY: hdizzle 1 month, 1 week ago

I know this has been posted before, but it finishes on 31st Oct so thought people may need reminding.

I personally think this is an amazing deal. I have been with O2 my whole life, and haven't seen anything as good as this on PayGo.

Top-up £10-£14 and get unlimited texts
Top-up £15+ and get unlimited texts and web

This can be enhanced with some of their bolt ons:

This is what I personally prefer to do...Top up £15 and get:

- Unlimited Texts
- Unlimited Internet
- 1000 mins to your top 10 O2 numbers via O2 friends (for £5)
- 50 any network, anytime mins (Call 50 - 7.99)
- That still leaves £2 credit to use as you please!

To get all the above for £15 a month AND on PayGo is unbelievable.

To switch to Text and Web, call 2202 FREE or Text TEXTANDWEB to 21300. Alternatively you can change it on your online account.

Not liking this. I think they're trying to phase out the 02 Unlimited Text's and Calls. If you ask me Calls are far more important than Unlimited Internet which should really be expected in all honestly. Voted Cold.

This is just an enhancement on the Text tariff, and is independent of the O2 unlimited tariff. For those people who dont sign up to this, and who are on Text tariff, they will recieve the standard allowances:
Top-Up £10 - 300 texts
Top-Up £15 - 500 texts and Unlimited Web
Top-Up £30 - Unlimited texts and Unlimited Web

Therefore this offer will affect people on the Text tariff only. Others will be unaffected (including O2 unltd)

I have just ordered some of these for myself.

Mistake me if i'm wrong but can anyone tell me what better deal they get for £15??

On the sim card i get just now i top up £15 each month and for that i get -

- 150 free evening & weekend calls
- 300 texts to any network

I have a few bolt ons which are -

- £5 for 1000 mins/txts to any 10 O2 numbers
- £7.50 for family bolt on which 5 people (me, my wife and 3 kids) get unlimited calls and texts between each other. They don't need to top up any money on there phone as they can phone or we phone them when its in time or where they are.

I still have £2.50 of credit every month.

Oh and you 10% of your top ups back every 3 months so that's £4.50

From the previous thread on this offer:

:
This is probably dopey question any idea if it will work on iphone?
:
It will work, however you wont benefit from the WiFi access that the iPhone bolt on provides. Also you would loose visual voicemail, although there is apparently a way around it. So yeah, should be fine! There will probably be a fair usage policy as its not an iPhone specific bolt on.
Not sure if this is the correct answer as I'm not familiar with the iPhone. But, hope it helps.

Wonder what would happen to the original 12month free internet/wifi on the iphone if you switched to this tarrif? would you still get it if you topped up £10 or would it remove it?

Seems like a fantastic deal!

You can only ever have one plan active, if you switched to this one you'd lose all the benefits of the other.
