The specs are perfectly fine for general internet / office use. Just keep in mind the processor in this does not support Windows 11 and Windows 10 is end of life in a year and a half.

Someone a bit technical could install a Linux distro on it such as Pop!_OS, or Windows 11 unofficially however.

The i5-8350u is superior to this. If you are willing to shell out about £15-20 more, you could get yourself a T480 from the same seller with a i5-8350u processor. You can find the T480 among the active deals here.

What is this "internal network issue" that you have referred to?
Also not sure what "Network: Internal" means, in the description above.

Most other laptops state "Network: Wireless only" (edited)

Wow that's decent for 16gb. This will light game too, plenty of titles will run well on it if you're sensible about what you expect to be able to play. Half tempted even though I literally have no use for it.

I use an older 7290 at work (by choice) and it has been fantastic. Excellent build quality and battery life.

Does the Internal Network refer to an installed WLAN card maybe? I don;t think this comes out of the box.
