Can i go without an induction or faffing about? Last time i went to a gym they said i had to do an induction and nobody was available at the time and needed booking. Never bothered since. This was about 5 years ago though

Gotta love it when people go to the gym to speak to staff that think they are qualified at everything and waste their time instead of working out. (edited)

Does anyone know any good workout plans? I've never really been to the gym, and don't want to pay for a personal trainer.

There are a wealth of workout resources, depending on your goal and experience on the internet.
Muscle & Fitness magazine used to be good for this, google them if they're still going.
If I was a beginner I'd do 2/3 full body workouts a week

Regarding the deal itself...I hate this gym so won't partake, but can't stay fairer than free!

    From the T&Cs

You can delay your start date by up to 7 day.

So at most you could get 3 passes.

If you use them first yourself then you don't need to worry about what anyone else does/doesn't do 🏼

Perfect, 3 days I will is the most I commit to exercise than I go back to regular routine

I just started lifting weights again but like last time I probably won't commit everyday like I should

Edit: Nvm no locations near me any (edited)

Great way to reduce your gaz electricity bill, go everyday, do a little but of exercise instead of sitting on your couch and using your own shower. You'll lose weight and save money. A shower is £1 so if you go everyday you easily pay off the monthly fee... I did this all winter and lost 5kg.

You sit on your couch to shower?

Why do some people in gyms stop what they're doing to stare at new people as they walk past them?

I joined a few years ago before the pandemic and I'm not sure if it was because it had just opened but the place was constantly packed, I'd have to be there 5.30am to not have to wait for machines, ruined my sleep so quit

That was similar to the one I went to in Liverpool. Never a machine free, I was doing my workouts back to front or having to change an exercise or even skip a couple sometimes due to it being so busy. Signed up to a local gym and the difference is huge

The first time I went the "Personal Trainer" called Jake tried to offer me personal training... At 10 sessions for £325.
And that was a discount for block booking.
LOL... I just told him I was on benifits.
The wierdest thing at Pure gym is probably the members who are driving £60k+ cars.

Thanks OP - signed up and used it for the first time this morning. Quite a small gym but it it literally across the road from me and wasn't too busy at 7am. You can check in the app how busy it is too which is useful.
