Got some last week and 500gm works out even chaper but cant see it properly in your picture - dont forget it freezes really well!

Ours had a sell by of January 2023 anyway so no need to freeze it yet - we got ours in Hull so must be nationwide!

This was true here (Witney branch Oxfordshire) last week - went in to get more on Saturday - did! Now £2.00. We’re all being ripped off!

Should the title not have 250g in it?

I get Kerrygold on a Sainsbury's Smart Shop price for £1.73 for 250g regularly, which is a bargain.

Was £1.75 the last couple of months or so. Back to £2.00 now. 500g was £3.40 on Saturday which works out at £1.70 for 250g.

Quite right, strange they kept the 500gm block at the same price, filled a shelf in my freezer which will last me well into the new year. Every little helps

Always this price now. Lots of people haven't clocked on though... think I better buy some before that changes.

It’s £1.75 in Stirling, Scotland. Plus in the Sainsbury’s in Dobbies it’s £1.75. Heat from me

"Tesco's butter is now £2.25 for comparison."

Fake news. They are matching ALDI price of £1.99p

If the butter is frozen along with
Multiple purchases of regularly purchased goods, surely you at paying more leccy to keep it all cool? Or does it work out to be negligible compared to saving £2.50 for 10 packs of butter over the course of, say, 3 months?

If it's filling space in a freezer then in theory it reduces electricity consumption. If you only had butter in your freezer though, your suggestion would be valid, but that's probably highly unlikely, for most people anyway

Dunnes Stores(NI) has been selling 500g of their own brand butter for £2.19 for years. The have only a couple of grocery outlets here now but I always stock up on butter if near one.
