Update 1
03/02 - Remaining ticket dates are 20th to 23rd March, other dates now sold out

Spotted that you can now book free tickets to the Eden project for 18th to 26th March for two people. You will just need to show any lottery ticket/scratchcard on the day (can be any date). If you don't have an old lottery ticket/scratchcard then believe the cost would be from £1 to purchase a scratchcard. Usual adult ticket cost for the Eden project is £32.50 each so a decent freebie. Terms listed below.

'From 18-26 March 2023, you'll be able to use any National Lottery ticket to get free entry to the Eden Project for you and a guest. Please note, booking in advance is required. The offer is redeemable by one adult plus one guest. Limited availability, tickets must be pre-booked in advance.'

So, it's not actually free entry, you must show you've bought lottery tickets, which I don't buy, I don't gamble. So I would have to pay full price.

Imagine getting a lottery ticket for the intention of getting free entry to the Eden Project and hitting the jackpot.

I did this last year with a Euromillions ticket. I won back the exact price of the ticket (£1). Honestly it was barely worth the trip to the shop to redeem it

Do you know how absolutely stressful the Eden Project would be on a free lottery ticket day?!?! With the normal £35+ tickets on a rainy day in winter it's busy as all hell even with the covid reduced numbers!! Seriously take my advice and enjoy the beauty of this place without being packed in like sardines in a tropical hothouse and buy normal tickets off season and at least get 10 seconds to look at each section without someone sneezing on you.

It's almost identical to the lottery card/scratch card deal the National Trust offered for the same week in March last year except you needed to buy a card for each person with them. I used the deal to visit Churchill's Chartwell home back then.

Unfortunately, the Eden Project doesn't interest me enough to bother with what would be a 5-hour round trip for us to visit it. (edited)

    Thank you @Chanchi32

I was able to visit the Eden Project yesterday with the purchase of a lottery ticket.

A nice cheaper way to visit their outdoor gardens with my dog (so we did not go to the biomes)

    Heat added

I happened to have a holiday booked to Cornwall during the dates so made the most of the lottery offer, naturally paying would not have been worth it for me with only having access to the outdoor gardens with my dog but luckily chose a day when the ☀️ was out and shining so a dry walk through their outdoor area was somewhere different (edited)
