Might be best to secure a cheaper preorder and then cancel it Currys do. I think we’ll have a better chance of catching a unicorn though to be fair.

Half tempted at this price but will wait to see official Nintendo store as they usually add a steelbook or collectors edition as that is looking gorgeous, but Game is usually the only provider 😬

BOTW is a masterpiece but I'm done with Nintendo. They're just jumping on the "me too" bandwagon in regards to game prices. I supposed that extends to hardware too when a Series X is £70 more than a Switch OLED brand new :/

Switch emulation is in a pretty good spot now so it's likely gonna be that route. After being used to 1440p high framerate gaming it's hard going back to 720p@25-30fps.

The price rise was US only. BotW was £59.99 on release, 7 years ago! Smash Bros also, there has been no UK price rise.

Heat. Managed to preorder it Hit last month for £48.85 so won’t be changing that now. It’s shot up to £58 now.

Edit: Back down to £49.85 on Hit now. Good price! (edited)

Worth noting for NSO subscribers this is included in the Game Voucher scheme, £84 for two first party titles with vouchers valid for 12 months. The other £59.99 titles (BotW, Smash Bros) are also included, if you don't own those and want to maximise value. Otherwise new pre-order titles such as Kirby, Pikmin 4, Advance Wars and all the older first party titles (inc. Pokemon) are also included.

If you want digital you won't find a better price.

This is what I did when BOTW came out, got Mario Part Superstars as well, both fantastic buys. The game vouchers are great value if there are a couple games you want, or to just hold onto f you know something you’re going to want is coming out in the next year

Electric Games have this at £44.99 on pre-order until the end of Feb, then it goes up to £49.99 but I'm not sure about the Co. seems they have some good reviews on Trustpilot but bad on their FB page and mention of Trustpilot reviews being flagged/pulled. Also they don't say whether it's payment on order or despatch? Anyone had any experience of Electric Games? (edited)

US only. BotW was/is £59.99 in the UK, as is Smash Bros. They've always had this top tier price in the UK.

It’s back down to the sale price.

I pre ordered on Amazon for £59.99. But might sack the whole lot off and order the collectors edition.

    What to do!!!!

Would be nice if you ordered the collectors edition from Nintendo they gave you a release day download option. That’s not a thing is it?

It's not gone up £10, just lazy Internet reporting/click bait.

The US price has gone up $10 to bring the price broadly into line with the rest of the world. Nintendo UKs top tier price has been £59.99 for 7 years! BotW was/is £59.99 too.

Ive had issues with ShopTo for months, unable to buy PS+ cards a while back & now ive tried 2-3 different credit cards i have and none of them work. either ShopTo claim they cannot be verified or they state the transaction can't be processed. Cant even be bothered anymore with ShopTo will just try another retailer instead
