£10.60 you need the one with barcode.

I've seen a few videos on them and looked a good idea

When the coffee pods cost more than the machine....I will stick with my Turkish cezve, does the same job for the 1/16th of the price.

No it doesn't, you can make espresso without the pressure, so that pot you heat can't do the same job.

Can you buy a milk one ? I believe the Tassimo reads the barcode to know how to dispense it? Thanks

Will it dispense just hot water? Does water stay hot long when dispensed ? Had an older model and coffee went cold quite quite quickly

I’ll stick with my £5 cafetière and my Aldi ground coffee thanks. No electric used apart from boiling the kettle and no pods for landfill. (edited)

Thanks OP! My dolce gusto machine's been out of service for a while, and have been looking for a replacement, so glad this has popped up, not tried Tassimo before though, anyone have any pod recommendations?

I have a dolce gusto. Opted for that as you are limited to the tassimo pods only if you get the tassimo machine. May not bother many but means expensive pods every time.

It’s a good deal on the machine for £20 though. Can’t argue with that. (edited)

Tassimo machines are very easy to use, with very little maintenance, so HOT from me. The Costa Americano and the L'or XL Classique coffee tabs are really nice.

We now have a bean to coffee machine which makes nicer coffee, but does have more cleaning/maintenance needed on it.

    Tassimo is ok.
Nespresso (original type) is my preference. But much more expensive in UK.

    I have both.

These machines could be free, it's the pods where they make the money. I used to thrash my Tassimo but I haven't bought any for months as the prices are through the roof.

Pod recycling - prepared to be dropping the bags off at collect+ monthly based on amount the recycling bag holds - daughters only had hers since Xmas and filled a bag in 3 weeks - only one a day (latte type so extra milk pods mainly!
My nespresso pods are most definitely more economical on the recycling!
(Pic shows = amount of pods, nespresso just go in tin foil household recycling when emptied.)
