About this deal
This deal is expired. Here are some options that might interest you:
Customs duty may be charged on top of the headline price, usually on items costing more than £135 Information
Update, price now down to £10.57
Update 23/3/23: deal been going over a month now and it's even cheaper now than when I posted it - £10.68 delivered. Massive credit to JOINRUN Store here
Update 20/2/23: back down in price so deal reactivated.
Gone are the days when you could occasionally pick these up from Amazon for £9.99 (unlike these, though, they were the non-Bluetooth version whereas it's the much more useable, and expensive, Bluetooth version that is offered here).
These happily take rechargeable batteries and the time between battery changes has been sometimes 9 months IME!
Simply take out the old ones to charge up and put already charged ones in so no downtime. Cost literally pennies per year to run.
I know Xiaomi's uk store has them for £12.99 but the P&P on top is a bit of a killer IMO.
Experienced/savvy aliexpress customers could probably get these cheaper by using discount coupons so if you know a way don't be shy
These night lights are simply superb and I haven't seen anything like them from any other maker. Not only beautiful but so flipping useful.
15 day delivery guarantee on this. Not sure if it means business days or not but suffice to say I placed an order on 7/12/22, it was dispatched on 9/12/22 and arrived via my friendly postie on 29/12/22. TBF December contained several days of strike action during that timeframe so I wasn't complaining.

sorted by- AuthorIf they do I've been missing out for a couple of years they work via the Xiaomi Home App. Here's the interface. As you can see pretty customisable
(edited) - Just be careful ordering the cheap deals for these off Ali Express. I ordered some that were advertised as the Bluetooth versions and after several weeks when they came they were the basic non-Bluetooth ones with just 2 light settings and no way to adjust the settings for brightness, duration etc. Ended up getting a partial refund from Ali Express after weeks of emails back and forth but really wasn't worth all the hassle.AuthorI can confirm the one I got from this seller late December 22 is definitely Bluetooth and I can't see any buyer review complaining about receiving non BT versions (edited)
- Bought two of these recently, they are superb. Great quality and fully adjustable.Got them recently and very good. Easy to adjust brightness and duration and really easy to point where you need them with magnetic base
- i have the 1 and this the 2nd edition as well, absolutely brilliant night time going to the loo no need to turn the ceiling lights on. Love it, battery last for a year at least
- I wondered why this kept popping up then I noticed it was sponsored.AuthorSponsored? (edited)
- That these be kept on a constant light to use as a kids night lightAuthorSadly, no, the maximum time the light duration can be set to is 1 minute and they are activated by motion. You will probably be looking at hard wired/plug in lights for your intended usage.
these are ideal for lighting your way (without being bright enough to make you wide awake) for instance to the toilet/ up/down a flight of stairs in the dead of night without switching on the main light. HTH. we also use them under our kitchen cupboards and the porch. (edited) - It's saying: "This product can't be shipped to the selected region."
Anyway around that please?AuthorAre you in the UK? Just added to basket and pressed checkout and seems fine here Anyone else having problems? (edited) - Got about 6 of these(kept getting them with other stuff from mi.com) nice stylish looking light. Not cheap looking at all.
They work well and the light is nice and soft for night time loo visits.
Haven't worked out how to use with Alexa though even though I've linked the Xiaomi home app with Alexa.Do you know if these can be controlled remotely? For example can I turn it on/off if I'm not actually at home. - Great light, have one in my bathroom, didn't even know they worked with apps.
On mine there's two buttons dim and bright, I always use bright. (edited)AuthorIt's only the bluetooth version, like this in the deal, that does. You can adjust the brightness from 1% to 100% and duration from 15 sec to 60 sec for instance. Well worth the 'extra' but here you can get it for £10.90 delivered!
(edited) - Nope, not battery and no Bluetooth. Pass.
- I have this for last 5yrs. Amazing quality for half the price.

a.aliexpress.com/_Ev…hAHAuthorTBF it's £8.02 @ checkout once the tax is added so nowhere near half price but looks good and you should definitely post it as a deal
Edit; oh, just seem it's plug in with a 2 pin plug so a big no from me but others may prefer it but probably not on this thread so still post as a deal is my advice (edited) - Buy three for 25.14 delivered, is 8.38p per light
- Are these rechargeable?Good question
But I think not
"Just three AA batteries365 days of battery life at the lowest brightness setting*180 days of battery life at the highest brightness setting*. You can also turn off the night light function via the Mi Home/Xiaomi Home app. Long-term, hassle-free use with 17 months of battery life when used purely as a sensor.**Battery life when the lighting function is in use is calculated based on the light being turned on 15 times per day, each for a duration of 15 seconds.
*The AA batteries are not included in the product package.
*The data presented above is calculated based upon an AA battery with a rated capacity of 1500 mAh.*Battery life when the device is being used purely as a sensor and the lighting function is not in use is calculated based on 80 motion detections and 20 light detections per day, as well as 24 x 6 = 144 regular reports per day." (edited) - Must be back down in price as just ordered for £10.90 delivered so cheers OP - if it ever turns up!
- I just tried ordering this twice using different cards and payment was taken (refunded on one), but both times aliexpress said that they had closed the order due to security concerns??AuthorI always pay by PayPal on AliExpress. Never had a problem. I just believe it's more secure than inputting your card details.
- My two just arrived. Even at the most bright no where near enough for my kids to see in the bathroom.
Pretty good for a dark cupboard but that's about it.AuthorWhen did you order? Seems very quick delivery as I only posted the deal 16th February And didn't you post about what you thought was a better deal very late on the 16th?
I can actually read a newspaper in my porch in the dead of night with this lamp set on maximum so not sure what's happening with your incredibly quickly delivered ones... (edited) - There was a £4.78 voucher available - got it for £5.78. Thanks!AuthorVery welcome that's a Billy Bargain!
- Hi just to let you know for a bit more you have it in the mi.com. No long waitAuthorAs mentioned in the OP (not that anybody reads OPs these days ).
'I know Xiaomi's uk store has them for £12.99 but the P&P on top is a bit of a killer IMO.'
Like I said there, it's £12.99 but the p&p (£4.90?) makes it quite a bit more expensive than here, about £7 more, I think. And even if you bought 2 it would still cost about £9 more than buying 2 from here.
Great if you are maybe buying a smartphone there so you can put one on the order but if wanting to buy just one like here the p&p is a bit of a killer. (edited) - Ordered this from them on the 18 feb and got it 1st March.AuthorGreat news and quick delivery
Happy with the product? (edited) - Anyone got instructions. Mine are all in Chinese 😁I used Google translator app and the camera feature
Nothing of importance contained anyway (edited) - Got mine. Seems decent.
One small quirk, instead of the switch inside having logos for brightness level each side, it has two identical Bluetooth logos....maybe that's why they are cheap? Slight cosmetic production error...
Very happy with the overall product, though. Works very well.I don't think the switch inside is for brightness. I think it may be to activate it's internal Bluetooth signal to discovery mode for your phone to find it. It's not a on/off one either. I found that no matter which position it is in, when flicked over it becomes discoverable to my phone after doing so - Better deal available if you need more than one light
(edited)Can you supply a link for this deal? - Any non CHINESE manufactured alternatives?AuthorNo idea I'm afraid but if there are I suspect they will be many multiples this price. (edited)
- Anyone knowof a way round the £5 tax?do you ask that in Asda? to avoid tax? jeez...
- Looking at the pictures i thought was Xiaomi toilet rollAuthorWill probably be on their 'to do' list
- Thanks, orderedAuthorVery welcome
- 🔥
- Have this. It’s really good
- [deleted]your link takes me to a US plug only version for half the price, so no not the same
- These lights are brilliant. A product I couldn't recommend enough.
- Can the bluetooth be turned off on these? I know you can purchase the non bluetooth version, I'm interested in these tho. Thanks.Joining to the question
- Bought two of these from AliExpress recently (different seller), but one just refuses to work. Not sure how I can get that fixed. I think I prefer the non-Bluetooth version to be honest. The only benefit with these is they sort of "fade" on and you can adjust the length the light is on for. Xiaomi night lights are outstanding though and the battery life is incredible.
- Would a pet trigger this? Hopefully notAuthorDepends on the size and how far away the pet would be. They are pretty sensitive (the lights, not the pet )
- Thank you, orderedAuthorVery welcome
- Bit of a misleading title. Item total is £15.04 after tax. Probably should add that to the price OPAuthorIt wasn't when I posted it. Do you honestly think this deal would have got such heat if I had been fibbing about the checkout price? It was £10.90 all in, pretty sure posters who ordered would confirm this. They've clearly had a lot of orders so scandalously put the price up so I've expired the deal (edited)
- Cheers op I’ll give it a goAuthorVery welcome
I'll be surprised if you don't love it! (edited) - Any videos reviews on this?AuthorSeveral on YouTube. Just search.
- Can I just use them as one/off lights and not sensor controlled? Thinking of a bedside light for reading etc?AuthorI'm afraid not, they work on motion and the maximum duration of light is 60 seconds. I think you should be looking at a plug in device TBH.
- Love these. Signed in and got a £5 voucher. Happy daysAuthorNice one (edited)
- Quick Question. Is the price listed for just one piece or pair?. Thank you in advanceAuthorThis is for 1 lamp. It's the 2nd version of this lamp hence the Night Light 2 moniker. I've put version 2 in the title now after your post.
Package Included:
1x XIAOMI Mijia Night Light (Not Including the battery) (edited)
