Robert Dyas have these for £9.99

To many bad reviews of leaking or not working and it takes 2-3 hours to warm up and even then the lava either stays at the bottom or the clump up at the top (skeptical) I really wanted to buy one for a gift too

Ordered, thank you for posting.

Might be called Classic, but these arent the Mathmos origionals. Look similar though, and much cheaper.

Thanks (y) 🏻

Thanks Op. Think its gone 😔

is it gone as I can't find the one with sensor at this price ?

any idea if you can get this in the brighter daylight leds?

Original price (which i assume the price you pay now as part of s&s) is applicable irrespective of the date/slot

If you buy on S&S and your next delivery slot is say mid Jan, will the original price still be applicable even if price goes up by then? I once read that the applicable price is the one at the time of delivery, but maybe this is only for subsequent deliveries (not first one) Can anyone confirm/clearify please?

Lets turn this on its head. Have you got any proof that light therapy does not work and is of zero benefit?

You’re totally clueless, so glad you’re not employed in my scientific team! Please don’t ever write a paper for a journal, oh forget you don’t know what one is. All I’m asking for is if there are any decent articles out there showing some efficacy. Now jog on and let those with an IQ above 80 speak! Bye placebo boy!

If you don't need this or want it, get off the thread. Furthermore, come again? "empirical /ɛmˈpɪrɪk(ə)l,ɪmˈpɪrɪk(ə)l/ adjective - based on, concerned with, or verifiable by observation or experience rather than theory or pure logic. Bye.

Errrr that not empirical evidence lol glad the placebo is working for you.

Recommend this one for efficacy but not the prettiest. Depends on your setup I guess. Lumie Desklamp - SAD Light Therapy and Task Lamp

Think the mods have taken Xmas off.

Yep already posted and mentioned in several comments on Osram deals.

Yes two sizes 200mm (£2.99) and 300mm (£3.99). Works a treat in my loft.

I'm sure this is already posted. As far as I remember there are 2 different sizes of these. Priced at £2.99 and £3.99. Someone has placed the stock under the wrong tag. So they are scanning at the price they are supposed too

I bought a couple of these 3 weeks ago, they work well but be warned if you use the strip light version pictured in a busy location, i.e. somewhere it's going to go off all the time - you'll only get a week in between charges.

I think there are bulbs you don't need a hub. But for the hive I think you need a hive hub. I have the hive heating which has a hub, so if you have the hive with a hub you can connect these to that. There are lots of bulbs that don't need a hub and you just download the app. Someone with more savvy might be able to help better.

Need some advice on smart bulbs. Just bought an echo, picking up later on. Can I just buy any of the smart bulbs or do I also need a hub

Voted cold, cheaper elsewhere. This is a standard price.

and John Lewis :)

I find the Hive bulbs a little Brighter than the Hue I've tried. My house was all Hive until recently never had a problem. All mine were standard White. Now got mostly Hue Throughout Mainly Colour/Ambient and 1 Standard White. I've this week switched our lamp in Living Room which we use all the time rather than the main ceiling lights from a Hive to a Hue Colour and even though i now get more colour variety etc's it definitely lacks brightness. My GF keeps asking Alexa for Lamp 100% Brightness and I'm like "Yeah, That's yer lot" I like the motion sensors/accessories for Hue. Bad nothing but issues with Hives switches/sensors

Yeelight for the win

Thanks for sharing your experience.

Seconded For hubless, there is no better bulb This one is the LB120 - tunable white (from cool white to warm white), and dimable brightness (down to 1%-great for films) The app works well but I find myself using them with my Google home more. Great price for this model

Yeah I am confused about this, I understand the hue lights if you link them up with ambilight TV, but other than that I struggle to see the benefit of these over cheap generic smart bulbs. I have a few cheapie bits of smart tech all using the efamilycloud app to set up (same as smart life app) and they all work great with Google home. Just picked up 4 rgbw GU10 smart bulbs for £35 on ebay

I have a range of Tradfri, LifX and TPLink bulbs at home, and find the TPLink to be the most reliable in keeping a network connection. The Kasa app is lightweight and for enthusiasts they can be controlled through IFTTT and some of the API has even been exposed to add to other home control apps.
