    For anyone considering this:

    You are paying to get cheaper groceries. Not just with your money but with your shopping habits and data. All under the disguise of joining the clubcard and getting clubcard prices - the actual price of the product.

    Stop shopping at places like this and go to supermarkets that actually offer competitive pricing on everyday products and essentials - yes, it might be generic branding and you'll have to queue for a bit longer at the tills but you save money and you stop being a product yourself.

    Retailers can capture unique identifiers using data from card payments. So you'd need to pay with cash if you want to avoid providing the retailer with data and shopping habits.

    Its renew every six months so you can take free trial now, cancel it before first payment and after 6 months new trial for free. I do it on two accounts (wife and mine) so if spaced correctly every 3 mth. Every little helps;)
