sorted by343 really did do Halo dirty. Destiny 2 sort of shows us what Halo could have become had it remained Bungies hands. (edited)
So much wasted potential. One of the big giveaways is the second island isn't part of the open world. There's no way you include that if there weren't originally plans for it to be twice the size
There was a lot to like in it, particularly exploring with the grappling hook and calling in vehicles to rampage with a squad but the point at which the campaign goes fully linear is so ridiculously early, I didn't realise that's where I was until well after I'd started the mission.
