Some comments on my deal for summerhouses mentioned the wood not being thick enough so here is a log cabin which should be better as I have selected the 28mm log thickness option and the pressure treatment.

Free delivery in 1 to 4 weeks.

Optional extras are available such as 1.2m x 1.2m - £133.00 (£119.70 with discount) or guttering £69 (£62.10 with discount). The floor can also be upgraded from 11mm thick wood to 19mm for £225 (£202.50 with discount).4108347_1.jpg

Ordered a BillOh shed and returned it, worst quality shed possible, the panels were paper thin, came with mould/rot and the wrong parts shipped.

When I spoke to the Customer Service team they were helpful even after a partial build and offered a full refund however they did joke about the amount of returns and that they end up on people's bonfires.

Rated 3.6 on Trustpilot which isn't bad, yes there are some bad comments but in the main it is positive reviews.

Do we need a planning permission for this?

Depends on where you’re placing it.

You’ll need planning permission if this is in your front garden.

Do you think the wall thickness adds anything to longevity or strength? Trying to decide between 19mm and 28mm. I don't care about warmth as will be using this mostly as a workshop and storage.

Yes, 28mm will be stronger and last longer, i would also stain with something like ducksback by Cuprinol so it lasts, a concreate base would help with both too.

28mm and log cabin shouldn't ever be used in the same sentence...

Saving looks bigger than you have listed. Stated 51% off in listing. 28mm will be OK for summer. No experience with this company. I got a70mm from Tuin and I still call that a shed though.

28mm will make it a sauna in summer

It will be very flimsy. You get what you pay for.

I know you will spend a lot more but a 45mm would be a minimum imo, even then it will need floor and roof insulating , it's worth the extra investment we use ours loads ,summer and winter

We bought a 10 x 6 log cabin off them around 5 years ago, worst mistake ever! The roof is about 8th of an inch thick board, the felt is tissue thin, it leaked badly after 12 months and they would not help.....supposed to be guaranteed 10 years. Think they meant 10 days! Worst quality and customer service ever....WOULD NOT TOUCH THIS COMPANY WITH A BARGE POLE!

I bought 19mm log cabin like this from this seller 9 years ago and mine has been used daily and is like new. I treated the timber myself and then stained it with Cuprinol Ducksback and it has been brilliant. I laid a concrete base for mine and wired it to the mains electric. Took 2 days to fully build it with minimal tools.

This is s good price and the thickness is more than adequate for what it is, now let's just hope the summer is a good one

I've had a 28mm 2 room cabin up for 20yrs, on the side of a hillside facing the prevailing wind and rain. It's only gone downhill the last couple of years due to the volume of rainfall and water pooling around the base. Nothing wrong with 28mm as long as it receives a good treatment, some storm battens and can be raised from standing water.
