So my GPU has expired. What's the best deal atm?

Buy lots of these. Turn on auto renewal after each redemption for a free month. Each code is effectively 4 months then. Turn off auto renewal. Repeat. When you have 35 months of gold redeemed ( 9 x 3 months , then auto renewal 8 for 4 months. 8×4 = 32 months. )
Redeem the 9th gold code for 3 more months. You are now on 35 months. Now convert to GPU for 1 month @ 15.99. That's your 36 month max cap Met. 3 years for £79.91 (edited)

Can confirm that this still gives you approx 50 days more GPU per 3 month sub.

Just bought a couple of them and have an extra 100 days or so on my GPU.

If you have an active GPU sub then this will convert to 50 days

Thanks. Just bought 8 x 3 month £7.99 and 1 x 1 month GPU for £3.99 all off CDKEYS. Converted all to GPU easily as it had ran out last week. Fantastic deal.
For an easy to follow explanation see the below YT vid.

Works fine adding 50 days to an existing GPU - thats under £5 a month which is fine for extending an existing sub thats got too long to wait to expire - great for waiting for Starfield

With GPU you can get back £12 a month on rewards even with just a PC so its not that bad really

Or you can have GPU free every month for 10,500 MS points which is a doddle to do doing daily browsing in breaks at work and via Xbox app.
Both of those methods net around 18k MS per month and for those lazy fookers out there - research how to browse super quickly on phone or PC - my fave method, copy and paste first million of pi digits and then delete a digit and press enter for valid web search.
This way you will never ever run out of GPU but I am using MS points to buy another xbox one x so will try to find super cheap codes £2 or less per month of GPU using VPN’s and stuff … (edited)

The additional month for turning on recurring billing doesn't seem to be active anymore

Yes, a year of Gold I think retails for £40 - so this is a good deal.

Be aware though that Microsoft has very recently publicly scrapped the £1 upgrade promotion for Game Pass Ultimate.

I’m not sure if this means they’ve scrapped or are very soon going to scrap the 1:1 Gold to Ultimate conversion. I’m sure Googling will lead to many people with this concern.

We have 7 days left on our sub what's best plan of action for us buy codes now or wait the 7 days to get codes also if GPU £1 upgrade is ending is there another way to upgrade cheap

Best to wait and buy codes when you need them, as otherwise you risk codes being used by someone else in the meantime.

If you GPU already then it's highly unlikely you would of been offered the £1 trial as its really for new customers or long lapsed accounts.

You can buy a cheap GPU code off Ebay etc as long as its not classed as a "trial" other than that just subscribe as normal yes its £10.99 so a bit more expensive but in the grand scheme of things over 3 years its not much.

Not bad but it's also no faff to just use the monthly expiration renewal trick and get the full three months of Ultimate for the same price, if that's what you're after here (rather than just the 50 days).

Once you've done the conversion and have a long time remaining its just a choice to extend rather than wait a long time for it to expire and take the risk that MS will change things by then. Compared with the other expenses in life £5 a month to extend with £12 a month back in Rewards isnt such a bad deal and maybe there'll even be a AAA game released on GP this year.

My gpu expires middle of May23.
Id be happy to do this if its around. Otherwise its £37.99 x3 for 36 months gold then 1 month at 10.99 = £124.96 for 3 years gpu. £3.47 / month is not bad.
Will have to see if i have autorenew on my account and deactivate it before May presumably? Only will do this if people can verify it will still work?

I just bought nine lots of codes thinking my account is expiring tomorrow, but my ultimate game pass isn’t expiring until 25 April. What would you guys suggest holding on to them I did read the comments where there is a risk of someone else using codes

If you can, sell the codes and buy them again when you need them

Most likely they will get used as this is a common problem

I have turned off auto renew this month and my subscription ends next month. If I bought this, should I turn on auto renew before applying this to get the 50 day GPU membership?

Got to buy two at a time. Its annoying but only way to get more is just checkout after every two purchases.

Wait until it runs out to make use of the 1:1 conversion to GPU. Ideally, you want to buy 36 months of codes to stack too. (edited)

Do XBL codes often come down in price like this? I'm wanting to do the 3 year XBL to GPU convert but I don't really fancy paying 37.99 each for the 12 month codes as that's the cheapest I'm seeing at the mo.
