I got this the other day. Yes the base isn't as visually appealing as the smaller circle bases and is also bigger in size. 132cm w to be exact. They are however a lot sturdier than the others (I have one of each ) and seems to be of better quality than aldis or home bargains version (edited)

I needed a small van to collect mine from B&M when I bought it, the egg chair bit is huge, the frame bit just connects together

I bought it on the weekend for the garden. Solid deal as similar quality was over 200£ elsewhere. Similar one in terms of size and built was in b&m, but about 220 and b&q about 240£.

Took me about 1 hour to assemble, boy that is a sturdy base that thing has. Seems like it has had stabalizer extensions added as an after thought.

And .. the wife loves it. She soaked up that lovely April sunshine all afternoon!

Picked up the last one from my local store, tooking everything out of the box fitted it all in the back of the car, the quality of the chair looks really good, worth alot more then what we paid for it, the flyer instore said £199 , but the lady said it's scanning at £149 , so grab the last one asap if you want it
