    Except it wasn't; it launched for PS3 with a £49.99 RRP, which adjusted for inflation is £65 today, just £5 below the RRP of The Last of Us Part 1 (£69.99).

    I've been a gamer since 1995. That's nearly 30 years of incredible experiences only a gamer can understand.

    When I say that the "Last of Us" is the best game I've ever experienced, I say this with the utmost respect for past wearers of that crown. From Tresspasser: Jurassic Park to Clive Barker's Undying to Max Payne to the very recent God of War, all have delivered truly remarkable and unforgettable memories over the decades. But Last of Us delivers something else....a totally believable original storyline from start to finish, executed flawlessly. And this is what makes this remake even more compelling. You get to experience it all over again in a way that makes it even more real. Even more magical.

    You are unfortunate not to have over 40 years of gaming experience to understand that Sensible Soccer, IK+, Speedball 2, The Sentinel, Monkey Island, Impossible Mission, and Turrican II are the greatest gaming experiences.

    I adore Naughty Dog, I adore their storylines, the gameplay is mediocre.  Thankfully the series was not true to the game by having Joel heft Ellie or Tess up to pull down a ladder/plank, or for that matter have non-playable characters run around whilst you desperately try to sneak up on a clicker.

    Don't support it at this price, I mean I don't mind a remaster, but a remaster of a remaster of a remaster, this is not to give a good game for next gen it's, because there to lazy to develope any game anymore and they just want more money without doing the work.

    They're creating a separate Factions game based in the universe and are rumoured to be working on a brand new I.P.

    They've also literally built this up from TLOU2 assets which is probably no easy task and takes time. It's not a remaster per say in that regard. Don't be an Xbot. (edited)

    Laziness? lol.

    I don't game on PC because of personal preference. A machine is only as good as the games you can play on it, and Sony's exclusives are right up there as the absolute pinnacle of video games on offer.

    Last of us and part II dropped price quickly. There is no rush to get this game so I'm not sure why they put the price up so high. Always worth waiting.

    It might be that price by the time I get a PS5. Hoping for at least a slimmer version, and may Sony actual surprising us with a Pro version. Need to get their act together this generation for the latter to happen really.

    I know this is gonna drop more by September with the influx of new releases, I’ll kick myself then if i buy now but… I played the 2 hour trial on ps5 and this is literally a different game. I played the ps4 version for two hours straight after it, I cried how bad it was compared to this but I still stopped buying it as that’s like £100+ for the same game over 10 years.. naughty dog are as bad as rockstar but it’s a darn good game… I’ll wait.. no I’ll buy… no I’ll wait..

    Dropped but not enough for me. Played the trial on ps premium and didn't really have enough bells and whistles to justify the admission fee for me. I'll wait until it goes into the playstation hits range

    Good price but I'm waiting for it to hit £30 or less. Almost completed my 2nd play through of the Resident evil 4 remake. That is a remake of a much older game, with new enemies, improved combat system, new weapon, redesigned bosses and levels, new lines for cutscenes, and retailed for only £55. The last of us remake is lazy compared to that and retailed at a ridiculous £70.
