Design Philosophy

Hummvee. Because icons can be rugged as well as beautiful.

This much-loved icon of the MTB scene was originally developed by working with London delivery couriers back in the day. We asked them what they needed in a pair of urban cycling shorts and Hummvee was born. So versatile a product, it was adopted by mountain-bikers too and can be seen on both the trail and the daily city commute. It comes complete with a padded liner short.

Utility And Cargo Pockets

There are no less than 6 pockets on this short, positioned around the body and mostly using a zipped closure for extra security.

Durability

Tried and tested, this short has outlived many a bike and we have worked hard to ensure that its durability will not disappoint. They incorporate a tough nylon and are double stitched in critical areas, making them nearly indestructible.

Great shorts. I have humvee 1 shorts and trousers and got these at Xmas for £40. They are a lot thinner though...my old hummers can take some real abuse with no holes from errant branches or falling off. Not sure about these, but the liner is comfy and fits the older shorts/trousers

That's useful as I have old humvees that are a little too big for me but wouldn't want to buy new ones if they're not as robust.... I'll just eat some more and grow into the ones I have

Heat I pay over £29.99 just to have Tunnocks tea cake sized pockets retrofitted to my regular shorts

Shame there's no size guide on there and I'm too lazy to go searching when I probably shouldn't buy anything more this month

Be aware the material of these have no stretch, so they wear very baggy compared to better shorts. Fine for commuting though. (edited)

Would these be any good as a pair of commuter shorts on a hybrid bike?

Cracking price for a solid "all rounder". Not the best for a whole day in the saddle, but perfect for shorter rides or commuting. Great spot OP!

Highly recommend these, had a pair for years and only went home when I ripped the side off them on a fence.
Look and feel great, can also just be used as casual shorts imo, if it helps I’m a waist 34 and L fits good.
Just bought for £26.99 thanks op.

Great deal. Had my last pair for 10 years and couldn’t bring myself to pay full price for a new pair. No brainer especially with bl discount.

Got two pairs. Thanks OP. So far only tried on one pair and noticed the little pin that connects the undershort has snapped off. First impressions not great. Wonder if could be a bad batch as otherwise they look really good. My first and possibly last Endura purchase.
