No leverage. Might as well bang nails in with a rock.

It was good enough for the cave men and they invited the wheel

The description says multitester. I'm no sparky but I can see potential risks in using this to check electrical devices.

If you've only space for a small box of tools this is fine for knocking in picture hooks or using in small spaces as gives a bigger whack than you'd give it credit for. One of few Rolson tools I haven't regretted buying although a proper hammer is far better in the majority of circumstances. Absolutely no idea where the thing is though - probably buried in the under-the-sink toolbox which rarely sees the light of day.

Same here. I usually avoid rolson tools like the plague, but I picked up one of these little hammers from the pound shop or b&m a few years ago (though it was a lot cheaper than this then - about £1.25 if my memory is right) and I've found it very handy in situations where a full size hammer is awkward, or where you need to do lots of low impact repetitive taps (like stripping off plaster for example).

For anyone who doesn't already own a full size hammer, you can pick up a reasonably okay 16,18 or 20oz full size hammer for not much more than this that would be a more useful hammer for general use though.

I am quite happy with mine but I remembered it to be cheaper and indeed it used to for a long time before getting crazy expensive a few years ago 😞
