Any good? I liked the 7 remake but never played any others

It's good but if you want to power up you need to go through absolutely tons of the side missions which are designed for handheld and are pretty monotonous. Other than that it's a good bolt on to FF7 universe and interesting to see how it hangs together with the next part of ff7 remake.

I just started this last night, I must say this feels more like a final fantasy game to me than final fantasy 7 remake.

Just finished this after playing the original as a kid. I forgot how emotional this game was.

Excellent price for the PS5 version, I've reserved a copy and will go collect tomorrow.

I am waiting for that as nothing near enough to justify cost to get there!

Bought at release and only played for an hour or two, can’t seem to get into it, the slot fighting system is strange to me.

You can pretty much ignore the slots. It's just stat buffs unless it gives you a limit break or summon and you have to press a button to activate it and it's pretty obvious with telling you. It's more about keeping your materia and gear up to scratch.

Absolutely loved this game on PSP. Managed to find a copy for Switch for collection so happy with that (although I have about 5 other games to get through first…)
