Low price, but why have one of these over amazon.co.uk/Flo…-16 ?

Surely water get grimey in these in a bathroom sitting from one day to the next, secondly takes up lot of space

They are fine if rinses through after use and air dried. Had mine a few years and still like new. Does need a bit of space so a wider sink or space around works well but it’s super compact and portable. Plus a known brand and build quality very good. I looked at battery units initially but at the time they couldn’t match the mains powered machines in terms of water pressure flexibility. (edited)

Are these any good for actual teeth cleaning?

Yeah really good after eating or once a day. No substitute for proper flossing but effective at removing food debris etc especially around rear teeth.

TePe type brushes are much better, I used one of these regularly before I'd tried the brushes, now I never use it.

I like both. As mentioned, the waterpik gets so much food debris out so quickly. I use it every morning after breakfast and use tepes at night when I have more time.
