As someone who works in a Cashies, you'll see these quite often. If you see them on the site, email them and send them an offer, you can snag these for around £350 and below if you ask.

Bought an iPhone 14 Pro for £690 from Cashies (online), phone was in perfect condition, included the paper screen cover still attached too - the inserts and USB cable were both missing though, which means someone probably sold the phone at a £500+ loss to Cashies to keep a cable.. and an Apple sticker.

I then bought a Logitech G29 and the brake pedal feels as if it's broken, so sadly going to have to take that back.

Worth bearing in mind that Cashconverters are franchised so if you have a problem with whatever you buy, you're going to have to send it back to the store you bought it from - unlike how CeX works.

i personally wouldn't buy from there, i have used them before and they are terrible, the images are crappy low res and very hard to make out, not to mention the description is wrong some times, and misleading. some items aren't even tested and are shipped out with faults like stick drift or a broken disc drive, which should never have made it past the testing phase. Finally if you do have a problem and need to return it they will make you pay for the return shipping and send a postal order which once took 2 weeks for them to send one to me. As the saying goes you get what you pay for.

if you really want one go to ebay or use hotuk links with discounts, you can vet the sellers and use the images to make an informed choice and if there are any problems ebay protect buyers a lot more. (edited)

I totally agree, I bet a toddler could do a better job at testing.

I did the opposite lol, have every playstation (1 to the PS4 Pro) then bought a dented box Series X from Curry's eBay for £330 that was brand new/sealed.

I had to go through five PS4 consoles that they were selling to get a good one. They would not give a refund as well only store credit.

They do not check them properly and just do the most basic of tests. They can also be sold in such a dirty state.

No way would I spend all that cash on a PS5 in their stores. (edited)

Not quite the same, but I bought a PS4 Pro 1TB Red Dead edition from Cash Converters years ago for a great price. Condition was excellent and I've had zero problems with it so I never had to contact them. I always take a look at Cash Converters when searching for tech as I had such a trouble free experience. Obviously can't comment on what to do if the unit breaks, but I feel confident in the coverage of a warranty and statutory rights so I give this a thumbs up.

Yeah I remember I bought a PS4 back when Bloodborne released, from cash converters for like £180. Which I thought was good for a console released only 2 years prior. Still going strong as well.

Cash converters are a strange one. Each store prices them differently. Which means you can get great deals when someone not so bright is doing the pricing

Never used cash converters before, there's a CeX around every corner. How much do you think they paid the previous owner for this? CeX is buying at £274+ for unboxed PS5 and selling for £420+, makes me wonder how much their profit margin is..
