Is this rib holder better quality than the lidl ones? I mean it's only a bunch of steel wires, isn't it?

It's huge, honestly, it fills a 57cm charcoal grill and solid as anything. I got mine for £22 and thought it was a good deal. I use it for roasts only, but it will hold 5 racks of baby back ribs if you flip it over. If you can use it, you won't be disappointed with your purchase

As the picture shows it is holding a 5 rib beef roast, if you know what a chunk of meat that is, you;'ll get an idea of the size of this.

I always think the bottom of a roast cooks better slightly elevated from the grill rather than sitting directly on it, which this allows for (edited)

Hmmm, was looking at a Weber Genesis II E-310 the other day on Riverside (I had it in my basket and was umming & arring at spending that much on a BBQ) at £799, it's now £880.....

I couldn’t find what size the chimney was, anyone know?

It's the large sized one I'd say? looking at the picture as it has the metal bit that goes over the handle which the portable one doesn't (edited)

Cheers OP I’ve ordered the sear grate for the barbecue I don’t yet have.  I’ve also bought a new chimney, brush and enamel cleaner just because I hate paying for delivery.

Now I need an E5770 on offer! (edited)

Seems a good price considering the rrp. Will it make any difference to how a steak cooks or is it just the aesthetic grill marks?

Adjusted prices in description that have increased, wouldn't surprise me that they have sold a lot of stock and increased their prices since. Some deals still there though

Hot! Been wanting a second Chimney and had my eye on the Sear grate too, especially because the charcoal heat controller should be getting delivered soon (similar to the vortex which is too hot for the regular grills)

Weber® 57cm One-Touch Cleaning System. Any ideas if this fits all their 57cm BBQs? Amazon customer has said yes. But wanted to double check

Random question, but does anyone know if any type of pizza stone will fit a Weber Traveler? Subject to size? I can't find an answer on Google and none if the online chat services from various garden centres have answered the question.

£40 for a grate still seems like a lot to me. Also feel a lot of time to get BBQ going and cleaning it for the 5 minutes it takes to cook the steak

    Curious what others think?

The grate was originally £20 as I’ve got one in the shed.

To spin it another way how much do you pay for a steak when you go out to eat? (edited)
