    The handle is always the part which breaks on the spray guns I've had - plastic. So since you're gonna be buying twice, you may as well get a cheap one. (edited)

    I have to buy a new spray gun just about every year as I always forget to bring them in during winter when a sudden freeze splits the handle/nozzle including these 'metal' ones. As you say just get the cheapest, and Wilko do an excellent 7 pattern one for about £4.

    My issue is I leave them out over the winter. Keep forgetting to make sure they are removed from the hose and all water removed from them

    Have to replace every year with out fail (edited)

    Pretty sure most, if not all are a universal fitment so yes it'll fit.

    Made the mistake of buying the expensive metal hozelock. still split even after draining the hose for winter. This isn’t too bad a price. Same as equivalent hozelock in plastic. Not sure what the Gardena ones are like?

    Mine has just started to leak out the back after almost 4 years being left out all year round. Still usable but def picking another at this price as best I've found for the money. I'd steer clear of any premium models.
