Re Pokman "wow that is super cheap. I got K5 with 2 little stick at £223. I wonder how it compares with K4. And it all depends on the water hose, and water pressure, so this k4 is a good deal." I had the K4 which broke just after 3 yrs in, the water pump started leaking which started tripping electrics. I replaced it with the K5 compact and I am SO HAPPY, £199.95 toolstation. Way more powerful, much better detergent system ( has a pick up hose from a bottle rather than a specific bottle which you have to buy. The extra control is not worth it as the k5 compact does everything the k4 control did plus it can suck up from a barrel. I would suggest you have to decide whether you are really going to use the patio brush and the car brush. The soap dispenser comes built in to the lance, I bought it as an accessory and found I never use it as the pick up for the lance works just fine. Also I found the hose to be longer on the k5, can't remember now what they both where but I had to buy and extension for the k4 which I haven't needed to put on the k5 Just my twopeneth worth from someone who has had both.
When it was on offer for £280 I thought it was good price. Now, this is insanely good price. Hot!
Nilfisk have a solid reputation for using aluminium pumps. I appear to have one of the few Karchers made very well as mine has probably lost power but is still more than good enough to wash my cars.
Voted hot for the price but wouldn’t buy a karcher myself due to a few of my friends feedbacks various models failing but they might of just been unlucky but Karcher seem to have a lot of the products on there online outlet site as Refurbished which can’t be a good thing.
@tammma I have never owned a pressure washer before , so don’t know what Karcher fittings are like. I am away this week (that’s why missed this message) but happy post pics of them when I get back. If it helps in any way it is just the hose to gun fitting which has screw type threads. All other lances etc are push and twist type.
@ojoj any luck picking it up? Presume if it's a screw fitting it will be pretty standard in terms of getting Karcher accessories fitted to it?
still havent collected mine yet but in the review attached by OP, I saw this: It was the little things we loved about this pressure washer, including the way the wand screwed onto the hose rather than clipping on – a simple feature which gave a much tighter connection.
any ideas on the connectors for these? I have a karcher-compatible snow foam lance...are they all using karcher connectors as standard these days? I know some of the other brands have adapters etc
Never miss a 'Hose' deal again!

If it was all part of the Council tax, then why do they have the option of metered water, why do people take the option of metered water, if it does not exist? Perhaps the majority do not have metered water, but to say it does not exist in Scotland would be incorrect
Like I said it’s all part of the council tax band
If you home has a water meter…none up in Glasgow
https://www.scottishwater.co.uk/Your-Home/Your-Charges/Your-Charges-2021-2022/Metered-Charges-2021-2022 Perhaps not your household, but you do not speak for everybody Using Southern rateable values, my property is Band B, and under your scheme would cost £357.14 per year for combined water and waste services. I currently expect to pay less than £135 for the whole year, including standing charges, so unless I wanted to waste over 44,000 litres of water, the meter scheme is better.
What you on about?? in Scotland we don’t have water meters….it’s a one of annual payment that part of the council tax
I bought this a few weeks ago after it last went hot on here. I bought it for £4.99 to replace a Mira hose & this one has so far proved to be a hell of a lot better. The original Mira was the second I had in less than a year as it kept breaking.
Why is that then?
I'm a plumber and if ever I go into someones house and I recognise Cooke and Lewis bathroom fittings, I leave immediately not saying a word to the customer.
Hangs like a wonky donkey, disappointed and looked cheap.
An excellent finding:)
Just a tad superior I'd say:) More so if you can find 'Hergestellt in Deutschland' words.
Fitted this today. Really happy with it. Had a coiled one previously of the same length but that had a slightly bigger bore but our water pressure wasn't great. This one has a slightly smaller bore but pressure seems to have increased for sure. Main reason for change though was limescale build up on the coil ones - won't have to worry about that now. Though it is stiff when hanging, it gets softer and flex's once warm water flows through it
This would fit one of them bath tap shower mixer contraptions right
I do mean a Triton T80 . Not sure why I said Mira T80 .Thanks
Do you mean a Triton T80? If so, yes. It fits mine. I think these are a universal size.
Thank you, its just my temporary replacement does fit the connection but doesnt sit right in the holder, keeps falling down when water is turned on. Was hoping to get the same shape/finish without paying over the odds for a mira hose
Can also be used to simulate Boris Johnson's policy approach...
Absolutely loved this as a kid, leave it running all day then skid along the sodden grass none of this plastic sheet slip and slide stuff.... which was all well and good until my little brother near as dammit tore himself a 2nd butthole on a stone in the lawn, Once you have that fear you neither slip nor slide.
I bought this from Aldi a few weeks ago and it's just ok for the price, nothing special but just worth £8.99 The hose diameter is smaller than a standard hose but it suits me because it would need a much bigger reel to hold a standard hose, I keep it in my car boot for when I have free time in work to give the car a wash. The only problem I noticed is the water pressure is reduced because of the hose bore size but it's adequate to hand wash a car.
I've got this little hose to water all my yard plants. Bought last year and has lasted canny, great for little area watering.
I’ve had this for a couple of years from Aldi and no complaints. Use it as a standard hose and connected to a pressure washer - works perfectly.
Great price so much better than some stupid prices I've seen for just a hose!
Correct. I thought it looked like 10mm, but apparently it is 8mm. I would avoid anything below 13mm based on previous experiences.
Hi. Purchased it Yesterday together with K4 and it works for me with full length (25m) attached to k4. Thanks
I guess it all depends on how often you use it. It does kink because the hose is a bit softer than the hozelock brand. For me, it really doesnt matter because I'll only use it for the pressure washer and the occasional plant watering on the dry months.
Can someone please feed back on how they've got along with this? Some comments say it kinks a little too easlily, some saying they are probs going to return it. Any feedback on this?
Here's a good FloPro hose to go with this: https://www.sproutl.com/care-and-essentials/watering/hoses-and-accessories/flopro-hose-30m-SPRTL104307
I have the K4 home and car one. If it works with that then I will be happy
Picked up the compact one at the weekend. Seems pretty sturdy once fixed to the wall. Not the best hose in the world, but far from the worst. Great for the price!
Can this be used with a karcher jet washer?
I got this last year. The connector is rubbish.
I agree it's cheap and not the best quality and agree it kinks easily. It fulfills my expectations for £15. If you wind it in carefully you can avoid it kinking , for £15 I'm not going to worry about leaving it knocking around in the back of my vanFor occasional use.
I bought this last year when it was in a deal. Took absolutely ages to arrive and when it did the trolley was broken. Awful customer service were no help at all. Luckily I had an old hose reel attached to the wall so just re-reeled this hose on to that. The hose is also poor as it likes to kink for a pastime. I would avoid not just this deal but also Homebase as another recent purchase was cancelled by them.
My expandable Hozelock lasted 2 usages, so I don't think even the expensive ones work.
Not sure it can be used with a pressure washer as pressure rips the seam. The £5 ones will leak at the connector but may last 1-2 seasons otherwise. Expensive ones may not leak but do not last much longer.
Voted hot for the price, had 2 non branded expandable hoses and none of them lasted more than a month. However, for this price and length, it may worth a gamble.
This kind of hose is not suitable for pressure washers anyway. I've learned it the hard way, 3 times with different brands including Hozelock. After that I read the instructions where it was clearly stated not suitable for pressure washer.
Just seen this hose too - says re-inforced and no folds / kinks (but then so did my last one and still kinked in a million places) (lol) https://www.hotukdeals.com/deals/20m-hose-pipe-re-inforced-with-fittingsnozzle-3752166?pprmrkntfctnsrd=329433863&UATypeId=7
