Can’t seem to find an answer to this but can you still get this and then upgrade to gamepass ultimate for £1 once your gamepass has expired?!

The £1 trial is gone, but the rest of the loophole still exists. Once you've added the Xbox Live to your account, just get 1 month of Ultimate at either full price or from CDKeys, and your account will still be upgraded to Ultimate for the full length of your Xbox Live Gold. I recommend maxing it out at 3 years if you can afford to do it all at once, if Microsoft have stopped the £1 trial, the loophole may not exist for much longer

This works out at £44 for 12 months gold. This is freezing.

£10.99 for 3 months sounds pretty decent to me without having to mess about with VPN's etc?

Same question as above! My gpu runs out tomorrow and would like to know if that 3 year trick is still available

Still works, its just the £1 trial that's been ended, so you'll just need to pay full price for a single month of GPU after you're done adding on the 3 years of XBL

Great idea of using the MS points - thank you. Does anyone know if the 3 month gold redemption comes as a code or is it automatically applied to the owners account? I was thinking of using my points to get a code and then applying to my son's account (he has no MS points) - and then update his account to gpu.... Thanks for any help offered...

I would personally save your points for something physical. You can get 3 years gpu for circa £75. If you use your points you're paying the equivalent of over £100 for 1 year
