At last an X670 deal with a meaningful discount on a midrange board which is worth posting !

It seems to have taken an age for this to have come down but finally here is a well reviewed middle of the range board which has come down to some what more sensible pricing it seems to have taken forever !

Seller appears to be Asus direct,

I wish people would give a reason for voting cold. Difficult to understand how a product which just two weeks ago was £450 and is now at £372 is cold.
Yes it's an expensive motherboard, but that isn;t a reason to vote cold, so why are people voting a 25% (ish) saving cold?

If you apply a 25% discount to a price that is a rip-off
And after that discount the price is still a rip-off
    Then it's a rip-off
    And a rip-off isn't a deal

This is especially true when there are other, non-discounted X670E boards for lower than this price.

Not to mention that calling a motherboard that costs nearly £400 "mid-range" is assisting the motherboard manufacturers' continued attempts at moving the price window wayyy up. £400 was the launch price of a high-end X570 board, there is zero justification for the single generational price hikes of X570 to X670 other than greed. And if people like you continue to think these rip-offs are deals and continue to buy at rip-off prices then you're part of the problem.

The High end ones are £600 ! it's the X670 chipset, very expensive and hasn't even been seeing a penny of discount until now, and unfortunately people don't appear to realise that you can still have a high price and it be a hot deal, the board is £440 at Scan so this is £70 discount

Do not buy ASUS as their warranty sucks, AS Rock I've had a much better experience with as they even covered me outside of warranty but just for shipping costs.

Got the asus rog strix X670E-E for about £380 from Amazon few weeks ago, did make a post about it but got took down because item wasn't in stock but you could put an order in. Which is a odd rule to have for a sale website.

Have they recently added that rule? It wasn't there before. (edited)

I have a feeling B750 will come out this year and make PCIe 5.0 standard at least on M.2 and potentially the x16 slot too, for half the price of X670. Also fix the voltage issues causing CPUs to fry and reduction in boot times. I just want a 7800X3D now but the state of AM5 boards is so poor.
