Details

AVF's Against the Wall Standing TV Mount is quicker to install than a regular wall mount, with easy to follow instructions and securing with a single wall anchor for extra peace of mind. This non-permanent solution will secure your TV at a comfortable viewing height while easily hiding cables behind the upright column.

With no need to fix to a wall stud you’re free to position your screen anywhere against a wall alone, or against a wall discreetly behind furniture for the look you desire.

Requiring just a single screw in the wall, this is the ideal solution for rental properties and gives you extra flexiblity if you decide to move home, redecorate or if you just want to move your TV.

With three different height settings, smaller screens can benefit from a higher position whereas larger TVs can be set lower to ensure an eye-level screen centre for seated viewers.

Features

  • Quick & easy to install and hides unsightly cables
  • Position against a wall alone or behind furniture for the look you desire
  • Adjustable tilt & screen levelling features
  • 3 TV height settings (121 / 127.8 / 134.6cm to centre of TV Mount)

I have one and very pleased - but do bear in mind the vertical piece is actually two pieces that join in the middle - and the join is very visible. The pictures do not show this at all.

I was pretty disappointed at first with the join but to be honest I don't notice it anymore. But yeah it was pretty startling at first.

I'm sure you could buy something like this and just incorporate it into the bracket. Just put two of the screws through both brackets and into the TV.

Why people insist on putting TVs high on the wall is beyond me. Any viewing device should be at eye level. Looking up to watch anything is really uncomfortable. This stand might be OK if you need to use TVs as a display where people view when stood up, or sat on highstools, but that is it. (edited)

Entirely depends on the room, size of Tv, situation etc.

This is a good item, however 2 slight negatives are - The mounting heights available, they should have had more for lower positioning of the tv. Could just be my philips tv with the vesa hole locations but i noticed this issue with both philips tv's i have. Also i have a 65" fitted and it is stable against the wall however the size and weight make the tv wobble at either end with the slightest of touches !

I got this, also for 99.99 in October to put up a 65" TV.

    It's good.

One bit of advice is to think about your cabling before putting the TV on. I have my TV mounted but didn't put the cables behind first and now they're hanging down, but I don't want to take the TV off the stand again as I had to pay a local lad £10 to help me lift it.

Mentions a wall screw, did you put the screw in?

Or is it like the chest of draws you put one screw in for H&S, incase someone a child climbs it etc?

Great unit. It's always better up against the wall.

Good price for this specific unit, I e had one of the black metal and glass ones from Amazon for a few years now and it's just as good for half the money

Voted hot. I like this one, I've seen it at this price before, but I'm hoping I will see it cheaper. Slim chances unfortunately.

Anyone is using over the fireplace bracket which you can lower in front?
Do not want static as that would seem too high...

I don’t have my tv against a wall but in a corner would I be able to put my tv on this stand or does it have to be against a wall? 49778359-WNH1u.jpg

Just drill into the wall and do without a stand altogether?
