Screen overhang is prob more of an issue during hoovering in the minds of the designers I don't know lol Cheers for doing the math. I agree with you a 75" would look great, only 5" at the sides is nothing anyway (said the actor to the bishop!)

The table is 150cm which is 59 inches. 65 inch TVs are around 57 to 59 inches wide, so if you want no overhang, it'll go up to 65 inches. But a 75 inch looks really nice on it and any screen overhang doesn't make it look stupid.

My panasonic ex750 50" feels blooming heavy, although I haven't actually looked up the weight. I think the reason they list the max size of 55" is because that's the width of the actual unit and screen overhang at the sides is to be avoided if poss?

This will support 75 inch TVs easily. Seen this in a local store and they had a 75 inch TV with wide legs on it, with room to spare. I don't think there's a single consumer TV above 50KG in the UK market right now. I think the heaviest would probably be the Sony 85XF90, which comes in at 45KG, so this stand would work for pretty much any TV.

Did you try Pcworld aswell? Could be same stock list not too sure

I had to dump a 40" Technika TV (carried to the dump in 1 hand) that I believe would have sat on this unit without any difficulty at all. May I ask why you feel it could only support up to a 32" ?, just curious, honest. These units @ 60cm (or 23.5/8") x 40cm (or 15.3/4" in) should (I would have thought) be fine above 32", especially with a decent base plate/stand.

The trouble with these are they are just not big enough for any tv bigger than 32”

Probably OK for this price, but you have to be mad to pay the RRP. Cheap, flimsy, plastic, good for students flats, you get what you pay for, so reasonable priced on this deal but don't believe the RRP, nobody will pay that price.

Good deal. I ordered two of the hi-fi tables on Friday for £11.99 each in the clearance sale (which supposedly ended at midnight on Friday) looked on Saturday and they had gone done again to £9.99 each.

I was gutted I missed this, but one popped back in stock this evening, order placed and delivery due Saturday. Thanks OP!

I've been looking for one of these for ages, heat added :)

Not that it helps, now its OOS, but Richer Sounds has it at £229 but more importantly they have the proper dimensions inc the rear width for those with tv's with annoying feet like mine. Although its a nice design, I'm struggling to see what makes veneered MDF so expensive originally. I would buy at £50 though probably.

will it fit mt samsung mu7070 55'' TV guys plezzzz?

I’ve got a Samsung surround sound, the centre speaker fits perfectly UNDER the stand on the floor. Maybe try that.

No problem enjoy ;)

Bought one of these today thank you very much John Ryder. The stand is very practical allow lot of air ventilation for you electrical items although the same between the shelves is only a smidgen under 18 cm both the same. That's not a clearance for a/v receivers. My tv is vesa 400 x 400 no problems ignore the 800 x 400 only nonsense . Only problem i have is that my tv hole are high up the tv meaning the clearance between stand and tv is only 10 cm not enough for my centre speaker. But apart from this i can fully recomend just be aware if you have a centre speaker.

I'm using a 65" Samsung "C" QLED. These high end TVs weigh half as much as older units, weight isn't a problem. The only problem is finding a TV where the mount screws are at a height that will support the TV above the top tray of the stand, and not so high that it's hanging 2' off the ceiling. It took me MONTHS to find a 65" TV where the screws were at the right height.

For those looking for a larger variant I have the 1home 120 cm GT5 Glass TV Stand for 32-70-Inch Plasma/LCD/LED/3D Television - Black. Looks exactly the same but has an extra piece down the back middle that helps to hide the cables It's £38.99+6.99 delivery on Amazon.

I have a black glass one and rue the day I bought it. Mere minutes after you've dusted it you can see new dust. I am currently on the look-out for a nice wooden corner TV unit but I can't find one I like for what I want to pay (under £100).

I had a computer table made out of the same glass that exploded and threw glass all over the room, really wouldn't have anything similar in the house again.

Thanks op. Been looking for something like this.

Sanus wstv1 TV stand for Sonos playbase or playbar at Amazon for £116.15
Found 13th JanFound 13th Jan
Cheapest it’s ever been on amazon according to ccc.

Just ordered one through Richer Sounds. They offer price beat so have matched Amazon and taken a further £5 off. Total cost £111.15

Chris, the vertical bracket attached to back of the TV has about 10 slots cut into it. The angled bracket from the base has "hooks" on it so the TV can be positioned at whatever height you like to give the clearance required. In the photo above, it is being used purely as a basic stand, being set at the lowest position, so could not take a Playbase (or a Playbar, which being much smaller than the Playbase, is not really the intended target kit for this stand). If the bracket was raised by 4 or 5 slot positions, the Playbase would sit neatly underneath, covering the whole of that flat base and making the stand almost invisible from the front. In use, the whole thing is rock solid.

Hmmm where does the playbar go ?!

Yes, it might just look like any other TV stand and, yes, it is quite expensive, but I can assure you it is a quality item that looks terrific in use. I bought one from Amazon just before Christmas to go with a new Sonos Playbase. and I was very pleased to get one for £125 - a good saving on other advertised prices. I would never have dreamt of spending so much on a stand, but it seemed to tick all the boxes, have excellent reviews, and having invested so much in my TV and Playbase, I just thought "Oh, what the hell....". I haven't regretted it for a minute. It is so well built, sturdy, heavy - a quality bit of engineering. It looks great (an odd thing to say as one of its main advantages is that it's practically invisible in use) and can be swivelled, tilted and raised/lowered with ease. It is a specialist bit of kit, optimised for use with a Playbase, so won't be of interest to most people who just want a basic stand for their TV. But they shouldn't write it off on price alone.....
