Beautiful speakers from Bowers & Wilkins finished in Rosenut.
Last pair available as I just snagged the other pair. Listing states nearly new but goes on to say blemish free and I've used Peter Tyson before and they are a joy to deal with so I'm confident these will be excellent.
And of course a brilliant price.

Got them in black over Easter from Peter Tyson - absolutely stunning speakers and well worth the money. With a good amp and played loud they are fantastic. Enjoy them !

Thanks, be interesting to see how they compare to my 603 S2 they are replacing, I mainly purchased them for the aesthetic.

Bought them brand new in black for £1000 last week at Peter Tyson. Haven't set up yet. Looking forward to trying them out. (edited)

do these work with a TV AVR or are they meant for listening to music? I never got into audio and it's a sigmoid curve, I'm at the bottom and aware that those of you considering speakers like these may sit at the top. I don't mind investing extra for superior audio but it's a tricky game.

Currently using a 10+ year old Yamaha RX-V675 AV receiver with a 5.1 setup:

    4x Monitor Audio Radius 90 R, L, RR, RL
1x Monitor Audio Radius 225 center
1x Monitor Audio Radius 390 subwoofer

I expect it is still a highly regarded set, as the speakers sell for more than I paid for them. Although there must be things I can do to see immediate improvements. In particular, my current setup is one of EVERYTHING IS LOUD but voices are too quiet. Extremely frustrating and for a decade I've watched movies adjusting the volume throughout; up during dialogue and down again on action scenes. Possibly poor calibration, or just setup wrong. bump the centre channel up by +3db, or if you don't listen at reference volumes turn on dynamic eq as it will match the levels across the front left/centre/right channels, you will need to bump the surrounds levels down if you use dynamic eq as it boosts them to compensate.

Check settings and see if there is any sort of dynamic volume setting and voice enhancer. (edited)
