Do you need these for each radiator ? Will they fit the modern radiators (I say modern them silver eBay type slim ones)

It's up to you if you put them on all radiators or just those you want to turn off/on. Obviously those not with one of these would have to be manually turned off/on.

You need the main evohome controller unit too. Along with a relay connected to your boiler.

If you need a full system, best to look on eBay for full used sets and build up from that.

Just be mindful on this particular one that the display is designed for horizontal valves. If you install it on a vertical valve, the display will be upside down. It will still work fine.

I've had this system for 8 years and it's still going strong. The only negative thing I'll say about these valves is you will hear them wirring open and closed. Also, I find the battery contacts can be a little temperamental and just a simple touch of the valve and you lose power to them (edited)
