sorted byLatency on Android seems to be a problem over BT for me at least.
However you can purchase an unofficial PSPlay app for £5.99 which supports various controllers.

Dno if it helps (especially with an S23) but there are cases available which will allow the usb port to go all the way in 👌

There's adaptors to fit for some cases. Although my case is very slim and easy to remove if needed.
I looked at steam deck but couldn't justify the cost vs this option.
