A curated collection of Steve’s speeches, interviews and correspondence, Make Something Wonderful offers an unparalleled window into how one of the world’s most creative entrepreneurs approached his life and work. In these pages, Steve shares his perspective on his childhood, on launching and being pushed out of Apple, on his time with Pixar and NeXT, and on his ultimate return to the company that started it all.

Featuring an introduction by Laurene Powell Jobs and edited by Leslie Berlin, this beautiful handbook is designed to inspire readers to make their own “wonderful somethings” that move the world forward.

I feel like Steve Jobs in his own words would be a lot more flattering and a lot less accurate than Steve Jobs in other people's words.

This is not an autobiography, but a collection of his speeches etc, so I don't think your point is particularly relevant, however it is always wise to remember that facts are pretty bendy and can spin around freely in the right (wrong) hands. FYI I have his authorised biography on audible, and it is pretty decent.

I can't get this to work. Perhaps I'm holding it wrong? (edited)

I wonder if his critique of someone’s case design, “You’ve baked a really lovely cake but then you’ve used dogsh1t for frosting”, makes it in?

A window on the man who wasn't a particularly decent example of a human being?

Reminds me of Wozniak's comment on the Apple II which made Apple's money for ten years: Jobs marketed the machine but Wozniak "only" designed it.

Yeah, poor Woz was the engineer behind all of Apple's early successes but I suspect allowed SJ to take much of the credit as Woz was never even a half-decent marketer. (edited)

Why is Steve Jobs aged 17 in the photo?

I hear they are bringing out a new book in 12 months with minuscule incremental changes and will charge for it. It’s what he would have wanted.
