This stuff is vile. Plenty of other things to eat if you’re vegan or whatever other reason why you’d be tempted to buy this rubber.

I disagree, because I put this on a cheese board around Christmas time and at worst they didn't have a strong flavour. The smoked one was the favourite of the four.

I'd bet money you've never tried it. It's fine. Not gourmet cheese, but on a level with typical supermarket cheese.
You might be thinking of vegan cheeses from many years ago that were much inferior, usually based on soya. (edited)

I suppose it's good for those unable to eat real cheese for whatever reason. I was unable to eat it for a few months last year and I bloody missed a proper pizza. So I tried many alternatives but they were so awful though. I feel sorry for those who have an allergy to cheese

Try cashew cheese, it's the best soft cheese but a bit expensive (similar price to good dairy cheese). There's a shop in London called La Fauxmargarie that sells great vegan cheese. Always a queue there though because it's so popular

I love the sweet and sour 'chicken', also the chorizo.

This isn’t reduced everywhere. Still full price in my local M&S.
