Craft Beer School: Tutored Tasting with Five Beers plus Cheese Platter for Two at BrewDog, Multiple Locations (50% Off) £19.99 @ Groupon

Craft beer tasting with five beers plus cheese platter for two Half price

Fair enough, probably very much dependent on timing and staff, as you say. I'd prefer not to roll the dice on it, especially for a gift.

I bought this for my partners birthday this time last year and he had a great time. He’s run pubs and worked in breweries the past 6 years so has quite good beer knowledge but still enjoyed it and learnt some new things. They got a separate table away from the bar and a member of staff came over with the tasters and food, as she knew about his experience too she gave them different beers to what you’re meant to get, so be nice and they’ll be nice back :) Overall it was worth it for the price for the day out, I think anyone with a bad experience might of gone on a busy day/had unhappy bar staff?

5 per person

Yep, the image is totally misleading.

Was considering getting this for Father’s Day but then read a few reviews that put me off. Basically you just get your beers at the bar (no special treatment) so you’ll be getting served along with all the other punters and it’s a supermarket cheese platter for afters.

Couldn't find this in our Tesco, tried another... no luck there. Sent them an email asking which stores stock it, and they replied that the item was discontinued on the 20th May, I'm presuming since it's still showing online that you could order it there but supposedly not in their stores. Very weird...

Very Good Offer for Very Good Cheese, melted (or not) yummy, + handy coupon free pack info ......thanks (y)

That's a cheesy joke - must do feta next time!

I think 2 of these will make the lowest priced kilo+ of mature cheddar cheese from a decent brand that tastes decent and is not defrosted, in the UK! worldcup

GRATE deal! I'll see myself out....

Now only £50 cashback and price has gone back up to almost what it was before I posted this deal, that was not a deal as the price was lower elsewhere.. not!

i wouldn't call the 75-300 a 200+ lens even if thats its rrp is it a twin kit lens abroad? as brand new grey imports are under 100quid and eg is 70quid 2nd hand (assuming i am not mixing up lenses) not a bad price though so heat added

Us too, however seems the Sony / Nikon gangs are getting the better of this deal package price, so it helps, this is not a grey import, it has the correct full 141 canon swap out, 3 year warranty and you get the £200+ lens for nowt! Lower that it was on black friday by £72 (y)

Using code 23Q9YVPF knocks the price down to £15.99

That works out about one and two-thirds of a pint for £8.50. That's about a fiver a pint. Usual Brewdog bar price. I really like Brewdog beers, but their bars are overpriced and full of hipsters. Their Punk IPA is £2.99 a pint in my local Wetherspoon's and hipsters are few and far between in there!.

Done this before - really enjoyed it and great value. We got 5 third pint glasses of draught beers and additionally we got to have a taste of a couple of the really strong bottled ones. The meat and cheese platter was decent although we ended up having some "proper" food after as well - I think we got a voucher for a cheap pint and burger as part of the deal. Admittedly the guy doing the tasting struggled a bit as one of the beers was brand new and he didn't know much about it and another was a last minute substitution as they had run out of another, but all in all a good experience

I just wish i could grow a hipster beard

This needs rounding up and sent back to the USA. Devil's on foul stuff.

Take it from someone who actually loves real Kraft dinner, the UK stuff tends to be pretty horrible.

Haven't tried the UK stuff, but someone out there must be paying £2 a box for this crap! A hot deal for them

Cheesey Pasta far superior in my opinion.

The world needs a little entertaining and if I can offer that and make a few chuckle then I've done my work. God Bless America.

Or because you want to eat decent bits of cheese and not eat a lot of calories. Some years ago I measured out 75 calories of normal cheese - it was such a small amount that I'd find it frustating to limit myself to that. Just because you eat this product doesn't mean you have a high protein diet - I'm not aiming for a high protein diet particularly at the moment. Care to suggest "better and cheaper" ways to "do it"? (Not that I was suggesting this was a good or cheap way to get protein - merely that it is cheaper than other common options.) Also, do you have some proof that there is significant issues with a high protein diet for people who do not not have kidney disease or other things that are specifically affected by it? It's often suggested to people with diabetes (who don't have Renal disease) swap carbs to protein in some of their diet. Also if you are losing weight and want to make sure it's mostly fat not muscle you lose, it's generally been shown to be beneficial to have high levels of protein. (I suspect you might dispute this too.) Further, a lot of people don't hit even pretty low levels of protein. But overall; you're suggest that people are voting cold because they don't like the product, not that it's a bad deal I believe. Alas; that is 'democracy'; still, more cheese for me :D. Yes, indeed - if anyone knows of a cheaper way to get this cheese, I'd really love to hear it!

so don't eat more than your "body wants"? What are the better ways? it's cheaper than whey powder.

Yeah they are high in sugar and not as much protein as flavoured quark. Nestle do a Kvarg Quark which is flavoured. much better for protein and 0% fat. this seems like a marketing ploy to make it sound healthy...

Looked at these in Heron today and I was so surprised at the amount of sugar in these! 5 times the amount of sugar my normal brand (Lindahls) has and more sugar than most bars of chocolate too (shock) I know that doesn't bother most people but it's something to bear in mind if you're trying to eat healthy! Otherwise, purely cost wise these are a real bargain :D

You have to add Spices to bump it up, personally, luv it, especially the chilli paneer in most restaurants/takeouts...

what is the normal price and the weight of this one?

1) it's not tasteless as it is cooked in Currys 2) it's not a peasant's paneer which can be cooked in many forms and regardless of wealth enjoyed by all.

It’s amazing! Yum

Greggs 2 Cheese & Onion Bakes [288g] £1 @ Iceland
Found 17th MayFound 17th May
A classic combination of Cheddar cheese and onion. Tangy, tasty and all wrapped up in crisp, flaky, golden pastry. Bake in 23 minutes.

I like the beans and cheese ones.

That’s hurt my ‘feeling’ :D

The pound bakery ones have a filling too!..... it's not just pastry! 😃😃😃😃😃

These have a filling though. No I do like pound bakery, but these Greggs ones are nice too, had some yesterday. Worth a quid.

We used to be able to get Greggs in our local Food Warehouse, but now we can only get rubbish Peter's stuff, which is really terrible.

Valley spire extra mature cheddar £2.39 @ lidl
Found 12th MayFound 12th May
830g for £2.39, amazing price and lovely cheese 19th and 20th May

Been and got mine this morning! Thank you!

I wouldn't,matter of opinion. In fact I find the high end supermarkets like Waitrose and marks,Not actually high end, just more expensive.

This one isn't

incredible price...whats the limit per transaction, 6?

Lidl's price increases have pissed me off lately I used to always buy the valley spire mature (red packaging) or the purple extra mature both £3.69 But what they did is changed the mature into a cheaper simply brand it doesn't taste as good and tbh I had a smartprice one that tasted better than this plasticy cheese. I wasn't to bothered as they kept the extra mature but then they knocked up the price to £3.99... Like whats point of shopping at Lidl with these price increases. Last cheese I bought was Waitrose essential extra mature £4 kg aboslutely brilliant cheese. I think I'll buy a few of these of these though at £2.39 its a steal and its pretty decent stuff. I'd say Waitroses is a bit better no doubt.
