Was £45. Have to thank @Sparvar for alerting me to the Pure Fine Merino Wool Cardigan earlier (now OOS). I thought this was a good Deal too, considering it's 100% Merino (and a few other M&S X ENGLAND Sale items are Merino Blend).

Not quite as big a reduction as the Cardigan, at £4 more, but not bad! Free Collection or £3.50 Delivery (Free over £60 spend).

Colours:
Air Force Blue (Sizes S, M, L, XL, 2XL, 3XL, 4XL)
Navy (Sizes S, M, L, XL, 2XL, 3XL)
- sizes as at 1.55am, 5th March

Be aware it has a "Three Lions" motif:4096914_1.jpgLook the part during the England games with this knitted long sleeved polo shirt from M&S X ENGLAND. It features a neat collar with a contemporary zip neck. This luxurious piece is expertly spun from 100% pure, extra fine merino wool and is finished with Three Lions branding on the zip and hem. Made with responsibly sourced wool. Machine washable and tumble dry friendly.

Merino wool always gets ruined in the wash for me

You need to hand wash or put the garment on a delicate wash and it should fare okay.

I had it in my bag until I read the reviews and it mentioned the little English badge at the bottom…..saved a Welshman some embarrassment. Heat added

You could always cut it out?

I have Merino as one of my Alerts - I'm looking for Merino Base Layers (usually for the bottom-half) for boyf. Haven't came up with anything yet but bought him the cardie yesterday afternoon and the polo shirt in the wee small hours.

Assuming you can just cut the tiny Three Lions tag off from the hem, should be easy enough. Theres a Three Lions motif on the zipper but it's embossed and not that noticeable.49699704-eDLsm.jpg (edited)

I've always found good value merino base layers with Dhb branded stuff. The quality is excellent but it means scouring through lots of outdoor retailer websites.

Mine arrived today. Not bad at all, although I agree if I'd paid the original £46 I wouldn't have been happy!

Worth noting the fit is a little odd. The Medium I ordered were quite wide in the shoulder and a little short on the body - not massively so, but enough to be noticeable. One was also broader than the other (I ordered both available colours). The material is good, but it's very lightweight compared to the stuff I buy from SuperNatural (and also cheaper). Thanks OP, happy with them overall!

Yeah, most 100% Merino items I see for sale (though typically a bigger ticket price than these) tend to state the gsm weight.

I'd agree the body type you're describing is typical for the cut of these - my partner is quite wide-shouldered (he thinks he also has a broad neck for his build, though I don't agree) and it fits him well. He's 5'10 *. I didn't think the polo shirt (or cardigan) were too short, not that I noticed (he's only quickly tried the polo shirt on).

More information about the cut and fit is appreciated, though, thank you.

    * He corrected me by saying "five foot ten and a HALF", which is a very male response

Thanks for tagging me! This looks really nice too, especially for people not quite old enough for a cardigan ❤️

More stock left over from when we 'brought it home'! I have the excellent underpants which were a great deal weeks ago but nothing which has to be worn on the outside! (edited)

Mine came today but sending it back. Feels like £20 is about the right price but never worth £40.

What don’t you like about it that you’re sending it back?

Went down to £15 now, though it's size 3XL remaining (at the moment). Sometimes M&S get other sizes in, which may or may not be returns.

Price change means..time to expire this thread!
